To surprise my mom today, I made this instead. I couldn’t do the Gb because they were sold out of Yellow seeds. For the seasoning. I had to make my own Lawry’s seasoning salt because I ran out, however it still came out great & sweeeeeet. This video was simple. Thank you for teaching me 😢 this means so much to me. I’m excited to try your rice bread recipe.
I cooked my cassava leaf for the first time today and it is delicious! Your recipe was easy to follow and precise. Thanks Winn!

@@CookingwithWinn ... thanks for the recipe! I never had cassava before, but plan to make it. Questions: 1) can we use jalapeno pepper for less heat? 2) can we use tahani, cashew or almond butter instead of peanut butter? Some people are allergic to peanuts.

1. Yes you can use jalapeno pepper if you like 2. I'm not sure about the tahini, cashew, or almond butter because I haven't cook or had it with it before but I will say, if you don't want to use peanut butter, you can make the cassava leaves without the peanut butter.

Cooker vs "cooker." A cooker is the equipment you cook on. A cook is the one doing the cooking, as in the person. The plural vis a vis singular; you can have one cooker or two cookers and/or one cook and or two cooks.

Very good directions for cooking csssava leaf. But I suggest you let the viewer know the measurements of the recipe - how much cup of water or oil? How many tablespoon of each seasoning? Otherwise, you made me hungry. Also, what do you think about adding butter beans pie the Vai people cook it?

I honestly don't cook with measurement, I just use my eyes and my taste buds. I've seen people add butter beans to their cassava leaves but I haven't had it before. If u want to, u can can add it. I heard it taste really good with it.
You don't add the Peanutbuter in right away, I has to boil a good time before add so it can small raw.
@CookingwithWinn
3 жыл бұрын
Don’t like the raw peanut butter smell on my cassava leafs that’s why i add mine at the beginning. Ain’t nothing wrong with adding it at the beginning.
I don't see you use onions why? Your recipe are on point tho... Am just curious
