What if a person wants to make videos and not really concerned about the money making aspects of it. Can a person make videos and grow as a popular KZread creator ? I want to make videos that promote the movement against political correctness and similar type content. My language might not family friendly also. My language won't be crazy but a curse word periodically. My question is will KZread be ok with this or will they try always get in my way ? Thanks

the format and content is good, but the audio is rough which makes it hard to watch.

Just a tip, If you're doing interviews, set the camera to manual focus if you know you're not going to move.

Honestly that is a good tip because Auto focus is annoying as hell!

Hey, Jeven! Loved the interview format. Creating a discussion pulls in more ideas you might not think to touch on by yourself. Set that autofocus on "Italian" LOL!

I have to say something controversial. I hate what has happened to KZread. I am old school and been on KZread forever, way before Google bought it. It used to be a wonderful place where you could upload a video you made that you wanted to share with friends or family. I didn't do a lot with it but it was there as a free place I could keep videos with a link to share. Then along came drones. I purchased my first one and shared my videos and I found others like you that did the same and I learned things. Next, I noticed that there were many that really just wanted to sell stuff and crank out video after video. Now I am finding that I have to unsubscribe from many of the developers that I like. Why? An example is the new DJI Mavic Mini. Since the 30th my inbox has been filled with videos all about that drone. There are way too many people that only care about making money and will make video after video about anything they can just to sell and make money. I know I will be told to leave it if I don't like what is going on. Why should I? I was here in the beginning and I really like most of the developers but too many are only in it to make money no matter the content. Sorry Jeven, I know you do really good work and I wish the others would follow your lead. Sadly the cat is out of the bag and yes I can live with it or get out.

It is unfortunate what has happened with a ton of creators but with the way the algorithm works creators keep getting rewarded for making this kind of content. It drives views, subscribers and ultimately money. I try to rotate my content so some of it brings new eyeballs to my channel with the popular keywords and then do the videos that I want to do like my recent climbing film. It's frustrating though because when you do a video like that then it typically performs bad and actually hurts the channel. The way the algorithm works you want to keep the momentum going otherwise your videos won't get shown to more people. It's a catch 22. KZread has opened up so many doors to build a business around self producing videos but you have to keep the algorithm happy otherwise no one will see them and you wont make any money at it which means you'll need an income to keep creating videos. I wish there was more focus on story driven content and a way for these videos to get the same attention that new products or trendy buzz words get on the platform.

There are some GREAT explanations , We need a lot of patience and WORK hard. Thnaks for all.

I like this format. I watch a lot of my KZread tutorial stuff at my fulltime job but being able to listen to it in the background is a bonus.

This is my way to go! As a Cannabis Content creator i have to work with many different income streams. KZread gives me 0,00 as add revenues;) Love your content , it’s so dam helpful 💯

Awesome! Its a bummer that youtube doesn't give you any ad revenue however there is still a ton of opportunity on KZread. Courses and Digital Products are a great way to earn a ton

Great video! It’s smart looking at the bigger picture and not being financially dependent on one social platform. I’ve been growing my email database and it’s been great for getting my videos out to core followers.

Tip: hand talkers shouldn’t use auto focus. ;)

Hey, the content is great. There 2 things that I want to bring. 1. Switch off the servo the mode or use follow focus mode for video. | 2. Manage your negative space while interviewing a person, you should learn something about 180 degree rule for video production. Cheers.

I hope I can do this fulltime! for now, ill practise and create create and create cinematic videos with limited gear like gopro and ipad pro.

Great format! Andy’s light and video sharpness look good, but when camera is on you, light from back (you left side) can be better, and camera that videotaped you is not always sharp.

Hey Jeven...yes, I really enjoyed this video and the interview type format. One suggestion (which you've most likely already thought of) would be to use manual focus...the video continually going out of focus was a bit distracting, but the content was excellent! 🤓👍

Yes, I like this interview idea, & all your videos are very helpful. I agree that the video going out of focus is distracting. 1st time I’ve noticed it.

Kevin, I know you know this, but turn off your auto focus so your hands don't cause the camera to go in and out of focus. Andy's was fine.

I think your be much more successful with this rather than your other stuff which is mostly re-canned, which I still enjoy but this changes it up a bit.

I loked the format. I would have suggested thay your set from the intro should be duplicated to your interview set. I realise you travel to do interviews so not always possible but if ot could be done it will be awesone. great interview thank you.

Hi Jeven, would you please help me? My KZread account is very old. I made this account in 2011 and uploaded few videos. After some time I stopped uploading videos because of my personal problems. In 2019 I deleted my old videos and started uploading new ones. Do you think, after getting enough views and subscribers they will monetize my account? Now I am taking this KZread thing very seriously . Should I make one more gmail account and start a new channel? Thank You.

Matt Jackson - I literally have no idea. I just started my KZread channel, and I always cut words that I think I’m using a little too much.
