Look, locking your hair is a journey. Not everyone is going to keep them in right away. Sometimes, it doesn't look the way you want, or your hair isn't locking the way you want. You are learning your hair, how it works, how it locks up, how it does what it wants. I've started and restarted my locs about 4 times, and I'm starting them again, just to see if my method should change. But I'm embracing this. I'm learning my hair, seeing my real curl pattern for the first time in my life, and I love it. Everyone has their journey. Let Gunther have his. That is all, carry on with your beautiful day/night

I got type A straight hair this tool was the only way I was able to get mine to lock up it was still hard to do, but overall at the end some pieces were still sometimes coming out but that's also due to requiring high maintenance and not wearing enough of a sleep cap etc. Alot of things to do when I'm just stuck at home in quarantine, but I enjoy your vids def helped me get locs before. I ended up cutting them since it was so much work and sides its nice for a change every now and then, my hair had been long for years seemed good for being at home. :)

I’m just curious to know, is there a specific way you want them to look? Is it for KZread content, Is it like a spiritual refresh, or is it more of a personal preference to switch styles over time?

Enjoy the $$$hit out of your content. It really so good i feel guilty for watching it... However, what do you recommend to keep a 3c4a hair type presentable while grow the hair out toward the 6 inch mark or 1 yr mark. I have waves currently, but look to start this process as some point . Thank you
