Student nurses in skills lab: When you make beds you have to have hospital corners! Make it neat everyone! Nurses in hospitals: Yeah just shove it under the bed nobody will know.

We do hospital corners at the hotel where I work. I've been there since 12/10/15. I'm struggling to get it down. The head housekeeper says I have to learn. My aunt makes her kids make their beds like this too.

Not a true hospital corner, as you said, it the angle that makes it a true hospital corner. I learnt this at the age of about nine or ten from a retired nurse. I’ve been doing it (with the 45 degree angle, ever since.

Aurikatariina needs to watch this ... she may be an excellent Queen of Clean, but I've noticed that bed-making is her Achilles Heel 😆

Took me a while to get it. The first key part is at about 0:23 instead of pulling it straight see how she takes it about 45 degrees under the mattress corner.

It's damn easy when one knows how isn't it!!! When one doesn't know it is not so easy 😢

How do you keep the box spring cover from moving around? That's my problem :(

They make clips with elastic for fitted sheets to attach to the corners! Not sure if your box spring cover is designed similarly

If it wraps around you can use pins as well. Theres a double headed pin secured in a flat piece of plastic so the box spring remains level and pins don't get lost!

My wife doesn't know I've just learned this, we have some unfitted sheets and I'm gonna do just this :D hubbie points :) (I should already understand it as my mum is a nurse and I was a cadet in my teens but whoops, I learnt how to drink instead ;) )
