This is so much fun to do. I have been playing with a range of flavors and it's been a great time. Only warning is not to use pineapple juice. Bromelain in the juice prevents the gelatin from setting.

Fun fact: heating fresh pineapple to a temp of 158F (70C) or greater kills the Bromelain making it safe for gelatin. One would think it would do the same to pineapple juice. Best of luck!

Add the honey as the very last thing, like after the mixture is cooled. Honey should never be heated to high temptress, it kills its healthy enzimes

I have a sprinkle question! When i made a layered cake and used your buttercream recipe, i tried adding frosting at the bottom half of the cake and the frosting went everywhere and kept sticking to my hands every time i tried to press them on. What do i do? I watched all your video's trying to make my first cake experiment for my daughters birthday and it was delicious. Just trying to perfect my technique first lol

For an even healthier option, don’t use gelatine as that is from animals, use a vegan option instead and don’t use stevia, use Xylitol because it is natural and very good for your teeth and general oral wellbeing.

There is nothing unhealthy about gelatin your facia and skin the 2 largest organs of your body Are composed almost entirely of gelatin. The fruit juice adds some nice flavor, but the gelatin is actually the thing that nourishes your body since it is too little fruit juice to actually supply you with vitamins.

It’s sad that most people believe the vegan diet is oh so healthy ( I was vegan for years before I did my research) when most products made for vegans contain so many horrible ingredients. Your body needs protein and fats take it back to the caveman diet / whole food diet or better keto. But on the plus side The nice part about this you can make your own fruit juice so you know there aren’t any added ingredients.

@@lorenrenee1if nutrition is your concern, vegan gelatin alternatives are also very rich in vitamins. They are at least as healthy as gelatin, if not more so. However, I think if you're focusing on the substantive nutrition of these gummies, you're missing the point of making it healthy. These are candy. Its good to limit the bad things that can be involved in candy, but these are not for nourishing your body, they're for nourishing your soul. If you're getting a substantial amount of nutrition from gummies, something is going wrong.
