How to make Homemade Apple Cider Vinegar "with the Mother" - DIY Prepsteading

So Easy! So Delicious!...(as far as Vinegar tastes). Please know that this IS "Diabetic friendly". The sugar is turned into ascetic acid by the time this is ready. It does NOT require refrigeration; I simply prefer to take a bit of vinegar each evening and like to drink it cold.

I have always loved vinegar. As a child I could not wait for the empty pickle jar as I drank the juice. You are inspired by Yahweh presenting this. Vinegar is a natural healer as first cold press olive oil. The mix is valuable for the body. Both are scriptural. May He bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you.

Be very careful marketing this as Apple Cider Vinegar and selling it under that label as this recipe is not apple CIDER vinegar. It is Apple vinegar. Apple cider vinegar goes through two separate fermentation processes.

@@miblvd431 I agree with Donna Storme. If the apples are completely submerged, it would make a ‘closed’ process, and be much less likely to have mold develop. If the apples were below the water, you wouldn’t have dust/dirt/natural yeast, etc., that naturally occurs in the air directly touching the apples, and contaminating them.😢😄

Deported from the united states to mexico because i 19 years old disided not to fight my leagal Right to be in the us. I was deported to mexico and here i would tattoo on the mafia and do drugs leagaly because of the mafia. Literly in my house on drugs and hearing voices and i layed on my bed and cried out to God And Said God forgive me for using drugs but take this feeling away from me that im feeling because im scared and all of a sudden i guess i fell asleep in that instent. And i felt something lifting me up very very fast and when i opened my eyes i was in the middle of the clouds clear as day and an angel with very tall white wings appeared to me and told me Tell The People To Have Their Doors Ready and as soon as he said that i felt like if i was thrown on to my bed and it was no longer night time. It was already day time but i had not felt any time pass and i started crying and crying and asking God What does that Mean and something told me Look in the bible. And i remembered that back in the God Pod In Tarrant county jail someone told me that if something really is from God it has to be found in the bible. Make this testimony short i checked on google what does the bible say about Doors and it poped up. Jesus said I Am The Door If by Me Any Man Entereth he Shall be Saved. There's a vitality and clarity, in people who live naturally, often close to nature as in working on the land, growing one's own food. Knowing one's needs in simple ways and in gratitude for what God's blessings with Mother Earth are offering.

This is great to learn! I use it in my bath water sometimes because it is wonderful for female hygiene. Sometimes at the end of a hot bath while my hair is still warm I'll pour the apple cider vinegar over my hair, face and body and let it dry that way. leaving it on over night to help with hair growth and wrinkles as it is loaded with biotin. I don't do that very often because it is very strong for my family and they can't take the smell, but when I do my skin and hair really glow!

Love the video as I also love to ferment things.. I ferment my own ACV also, and I ferment my own kefir.. Making your own kefir is better because it will contain over 60 different strains of good bacteria and yeast... The bacteria strain responsible for turning ethanol into vinegar is called Acetabacter. I actually started off my fermentation hobbies by making wine. Homemade wine from a vine of wild Muscadines that was growing in my Grandmother back yard.. I didn't get the process right the time. The yeast strain I used did convert all the natural sugar and added sugar into ethanol. The problem was that I let it sit way to long and the wine did turn to vinegar lol... Thats how I learned how to make vinegar by the way lol.. But yes, homemade ACV is much better than the ACV in the store.. I love to ferment. I also ferment my on yogurt. I dont drink alcohol, but I do ferment wine, beer and liquor for certain family members and friends. Even kefir... Love the video.... You should try homemade pineapple cider vinegar 😋 i also make my own penicillin and other antibiotics and I also make my own probiotics lol. So trust me when I say, I feel you on the homemade thing. Making your own cocout oil is also a must

I understand the rebellious remark lol. I make my own wine. Cough * legal in my state up too 200gals per year..... But people don't understand that if you really want to start a revolution. You don't burn buildings or riot or protest. You simply make your own products . And we can all DO IT! So just go out and do it.!!

Hello! You remind me so much of my very much younger self! I, too, loved my grandmother so much and delight, still, in wearing the old-fashioned kitchen aprons. I have made vinegar for years and cheese and tinctures and breads, etc. So satisfying! I stumbled across your video this morning for the first time, and I absolutely love it! Even though, I have spent years learning, there is always something else to learn, and it is always interesting to see how others are similar or different. I, too, faced the cheesecloth dilemma many years ago when finances very slim pickin's. I discovered that a pinked-edge diaper works wonderfully well and has a very long "shelf life"! I invested in a package of twelve, unfolded, pinked-edged 100% cotton diapers that are still in use today. They are study, stand up to repeated washing, and are easily sanitized on a clothes line in the sun. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos! I feel like I just stumbled across a much younger kindred spirit! Blessings! Marian

Marian Lawson I was thinking the same thing. She has that glow of blissful productivity doing things G-d created women to do, the bloom of purity & Grace. I sat watching the video & got the urge to hunt up a picture or two or myself back in the day. And, no that's not vanity. I usually can barely stand cameras or pix being taken of me, but I watching this was like seeing a kindred spirit of time & day almost forgotten. The energy & the zeal, doing everything from scratch. I miss it. I was actually shocked when my eldest son announced his wife was going to use cloth diapers with the brood, breastfeed, etc. etc. I figured it wouldn't last very long, considering the modern world. I wouldn't even know where to buy cloth diapers these days, folded, unfolded, or whatever. Every once in a while I come across an old diaper pin in my stuff & fond memories flood in. Fresh bread baking with that yeasty smell permeating the air, sourdough starter in the back of the refrigerator, homemade cranberry sauces, jellies, & jams, & carrying a banana & a spoon in my purse when other moms had a glass jar & modern ones have a food pouch, of all things. I sometimes feel like a dinosaur. This girl simply glows & I'm sure pretty much everything she does is blessed. BTW: Grandkids 3 & 4, through my two eldest boys, are due by the end of the year.

(Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (Sunday to Friday sundown) 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
