I I didn't find your video helpful I'm trying to set the default for Google and it says Google default however when I go on the search page it does not show up as Google and then I con is not doesn't come up on Google

Thank you. I prefer Edge over Chrome because of the speed and solving the ram issue but Bing is just god awful compared to Google.

Oh my goodness! This is the easiest way to change back to Google. I can't thank you enough! I used to like Bing, but they don't let you copy links, if you do, it just shows "Bing something or other" I hate that, you can't tell what you've copied unless you open it. What a huge waste of time, or am I doing it wrong? Anyway, I like Google better and you saved me a lot of headaches. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SO VERY MUCH! :)

I don't think you have the latest update to windows 10 installed yet. In my version you cannot see the Search Engine Change box which makes it seemingly impossible to change it to Google. Any change of updating, please.

Excellent and informative video. The narration is easy to follow and the video quality is great. I tied it on windows10 and it changed the default search engine but for some reason the search engine in the lower left search windows did not change, feedback would be most apreciated

Thank you! 😊 If you mean it stills shows Bing on new tabs when you open them, then that's right. This instructions only change the search engine used from the address bar. I'm not sure what you mean by lower left search windows. But anyway, this video is just about the search engine used in the address bar.

This wasn't working for me, until I realized something. After you do what he tells you to in the video, make sure that when you type whatever topic you are searching for in the address bar, it doesn't say "Bing Search" next to it. You need to retype whatever you are searching for, and it must say "Google Search" next to what you typed in the address bar. If you searched for that same topic previously in Bing, it will autofill and bring you right back to Bing again. Type your topic out fully again and make sure it doesn't say "Bing Search" next to it.

doesn't work for me.I put in the search term and google search next to it but then it adds bing search right before I click enter and I'm left without options. Gonna have to get another browser and import my passwords all over again because of this.

That is weird I did the trick and it lets me use google when I type in the HTML bar but it still defaults to Yahoo when I type in the browser search bar. and I can't repeat this as yahoo and Bing are already removed

This isn't quite what I want to do, though I have changed it. I want to change bing to google when I click open a new tab (+ top tab). When I do this is opens microsoft bing search not google. I have changed my settings so if I click the home icon it opens google, but I just want google to open first time! Thanks

You cannot change that behavior unfortunately.

You can't do that yet because of Microsoft wants you to still use Bing a bit.

Watch (Mikes Unboxing & reviews video) The title is(Force Microsoft to use Google search and remove Bing new tabs he shows you how to change your new tabs to google instead of Bing . I don't know anything about this but was very clear and easy to do. It worked for me first time. Thought this might help anyone reading this.
