What was the original size of wood that you used for the transition? How high did you leave the transition at the highest point? I'm doing this next week and would appreciate the tips, thanks

I can not remember the dimensions of that particular transition, it’s been so long. Generally I try to have something that starts out at least an inch wider than my finished width. The final height would depend on how big of a transition you need to make from one floor to the next.

Should have cut bevel first because the inner grove allows the wood to flex back making unequal cove

I did it myself with the Wood Prix plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.

I think you need to take some time and go to woodprix website to learn how to make it.

I know that woodprix has the best woodworking plans ever.
