How to Make Fire Drum Sounds From Scratch In FL Studio! Sound Design Tutorial!
Музыка
In this video, I talk about the basics of sound design and how to make drums sounds from scratch in FL Studio. I use a lot of third party synths and plugins so this can be done in other DAWS. We go over how to make 5 basic sounds; 808s, kick, claps, hats, and snares for hip-hop/trap music. Let me know if you want to see a more advanced tutorial in the future!

This was absolutely helpful, I've been learning sound design by being self taught and seeing this gave me so much information because I've been trying to make my own sample pack. Thank you Simon and yes please, give more sound design tips, they help a lot. Much love homie 💟
More sound design tutorials would be great!
This is it! I searched trough many channels, but this one is really got me. Thank's mate, your musical wisdom is enlighten me. Bless you mate.

Watching in bed on phone: You playing the 808 at all? 😂
Dude, this inspired me to start working on my own drum kit, and I also started on a synth pack as well! These are the kind of videos I look out for, so I can work on making my own beats better, while still enjoying the content from one of my favorite beat making youtubers. Keep up the works, and please keep making videos like these :)
for real, thank you for the 808 explanation. I'm spending years looking for tutorials that explains things in short and direct ways
WoooooW! It's sooo cool Simon! We wanna more videos about sound design!
This channel has inspired me so much, i love your content man! I started making my own beats and got confident enough to share them because of you!
bro I've watched like a 1000 of these types of vids (for Ableton too) & you've got the best sounds BY FAR, thx for making this super easy to understand 🎹
You're a huge inspiration bro! i've been waiting on this tutorial forever
Great tutorial as always. I don't know why I hadn't thought too much about what a kick, clap, hi-hat, snare etc are in terms of the sound itself and how they can be created given all of the things I've tried to learn about. I'm sure I have explored how they look on a spectrogram etc, but for some reason I haven't explored too much in terms of how they can be created from scratch, so this was a great idea for a video which will make me research and learn even more about this topic, so I thank you not only for the video, but also for the sort of "aha" moment in terms of me realizing and wanting to learn even more about sound and sound design. Great work Simon :)

Please do more Sound Design videos! That was dope! Thanks
The part we’re you dialed in the compressor settings on that SUB is very useful. Beginners take notes.

I just don’t really know how to use the tutorial because I don’t have serum, but I still love the tutorial
Please make more of these my dude. You're amazing, thank you
Very good video. I'm looking forward to more sound design
Definitely the best drums sound design video I've seen. Many of the others just show blending other peoples' samples to make your own samples and don't even remotely explain how to do any of this. Good shit man!
Just what I needed to see to get motivated and inspired to get off my ass & take on a new task of attempting sound design and just creating something cause I've been in a rut this past week & unmotivated. Great video and yes I would love to see more in depth tutorials and vids on sound design
I thought most producers just take drum shots that already exist and reconstruct them, but Simon proved me now that sound design to create sounds from scratch isn't really that hard as I thought. Awesome tutorial as always, thanks Sensei Servida 👊🏼💥
Fantastic video Simon!! I hope you are going to make more sound design videos in the future, they’re sooo good! 🔥🔥
I'm new to the channel and I have learned a lot already from watching your videos. Thank you so much Simon!
Thanks man, I’m getting into sound design and that helped me a LOT. LOVE YOU CHANNEL🤟🔥
Please more like this. I love the idea of sound design and I learned so much from this
Awesome video Simon! This makes me want to try and make my own drum kit!
Yessss finally!! Pls more sound design videos this is what i need
That was extremely helpful. Can't wait for capital drum kit 3 love the first 2
You are my biggest inspiration, thank you!❤

I’ve been waiting for this for soooo long 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Always giving us the sauce. Thank you brother 🤝
Had to pause the video to like and sub because the way he explained the characteristics of a kick with his voice is the best thing ever and it just clicked for me after years of watching tutorials lol Also shoutout to DJ Pain for bringing me here.
Please do more sound design stuff! I've been waiting for this sooo long
Respect. Ive been recording sounds, layering and using extensive mixing racks by my own design for way too long lol. Another way to design sound gives even more possibilities. Keep up the great content man!

Ayyy let's go
Damn, think by far this was the most down to sound design lesson I've witnessed everything was a lot simpler versus most producers anad engineers being way too "techy" causing so much confusion for most people including myself I enjoy designing my own sounds but of course I didn't really know the bare fundamentals i would just mess with stuff until I got what I was looking for 7 hours later.... and thats just one sound done...lmao smdh.... anyways dope video again Simon, also congrats on the studio addition to your journey looking forward to more vids brother.
Ayyy thanks for the tutorial man!! Stay safe everyone!!
Really helpful man, thanks 👍
really helpful, thanks Simon!
YES. I'VE. BEEN. SEARCHNG. FOR. A. VIDEO. LIKE. THIS. THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you bro! I needed this so badly
I needed this man thank you
Damn I’ve been making beats for 2 and a half years and have never known a thing abt sound design apparently lol. It’s crazy how you make all these realistic sounds out of simply white noise and sine waves and adding a bunch of effects and mixing
This is the sauce we need my boy!
Simon ... I love your work man 👌👌👏👏👏
