How to Make Faux Leather Christmas Candy Hair Bows with a Cricut

In this video I'll show you how to make these fun peppermint candy hair bows using faux leather, heat transfer vinyl, and a Cricut. This is a great Cricut Christmas craft perfect for Cricut beginners. I'll show you how to cut faux leather with your Cricut cutting machine and then how to apply layers of heat transfer vinyl to faux leather to create these festive hair bow accessories for the holidays.

Oh that's funny! I hope your great nieces love them. My daughter is too old to wear bows now (except the cheer team kind) so I have to find someone to wear them for me, too.

So cute! It reminds me of the buttons of your gingerbreads from a few years ago. I loved them so much, I made more from cardstock, and used them to decorate the table … Here on bows, it is SO perfect! ❤

Love all your projects! What is the brand/kind of transfer tape that you use?

Hi, great question! Since I am using heat transfer vinyl, not permanent vinyl, there isn't any transfer tape. The clear backing you see is the one attached to the back of the heat transfer vinyl. I hope that helps!
