Hi good day I've been doing as you xplained but adding clip, it does nor stay put, the clip is on the head, but the facial part goes down its not like straight over face, 1.could it be I've used to many crinoline looks a little bulky 2. The back edges maybe not combined properly..I'll loose everything and will try to stretch it as you did and then fasten the 2edges and see if it's going to be better....

Try again, just make sure the first edges of the iron is strong and unmovable,after which you push the other part gradually to smoothen the crinoline.
