when you pitch up or down, how do you know what key you changed too? If I was on c#4 and pitched it up two will I be on d#4? I never understood it when you pitch your changing the root note especially to the 808 right? Someone can explain plz

Aye! Yes, so if I was in the key of C# min (and pitched up 1 semitone) I would be in D min now. If I was in C# min (and went up by 2 semitones) I would be at D# min. There are 12 semitones / half steps in an octave.
