This video has helped me with my depression. I’m very artsy and creative and love to have some custom made items to decorate my home and this has relaxed me (and pills) lol tremendously.... Very beautiful 😀
I want to start to work with resin, all the tips that you are giving are very helpful for me. Thank you so much!!
Art Resin is the only resin i use. To me it's the best, I can sit at my dinning room table and do my coasters. I have discovered that putting lights in my coasters is a big hit for people who sit around the campfire at night. And they are beautiful with the lights. Thank you so much Art Resin for your product.

Thank you for this great tutorial that covered so many things with very easy to follow explanations and helpful hints. I also liked that it wasn't sped up in areas that can keep you guessing of what actually took place. I wish I had come across this sooner, but I'm glad I finally did. I love all of your tutorials on your site.

But they leave out of the most important things about resin in that you always need alcohol near to clean any spills off your skin and ALWAYS wear a respiratory. Great tutorial but the safety is lacking.
Just got some will be trying it out this week some time, am using it to make a keepsake

I use a heat gun to help remove the tape with hardened drips, works great
This has been the best resin tutorial I've seen so far, and I've seen a lot! You explained everything so well, and thank you for the tips about the warm water bath and not using a torch when alcohol inks are used. Obviously I haven't tried them yet or I think I would have burned the house down by now as I wouldn't even have thought about alcohol and an open flame hahaha All of your coasters were just gorgeous and I loved how lovely ladies showed so many different variety of ways to make them. Thank you!!

Very very nice
Hello, I’ve used painters tape for everything that’s a pour, be it resin or acrylic paint pours.When you use tape for resin pours or even paint pours and it runs over or if you use your fingers to spread, if you wait for a minute or two after you pour you can use a toothpick or a flat stick and scrape the drippy off and you will have less or no problem peeling off the tape. You can also use a heat gun on low to heat up the resin and it also helps to remove your tape. That’s just what I do. 🙏🏼🤗

it just a great creative works' i joined' new friend
Excellent !!!I always love your videos. I have your resin and the tip about warming it before is great. We have now low temperatures so is good to know these details. Other thing is that I never have worked with alcohol ink, I love the effects!! . Im going to try it, I am glad that I hear that I can't use the torch, that could be bad!!! . Thank you for the comparison with the three techniques of sealing, I didn't know that can be different each one .Question: 1.- There is any place where we can look to see the exact amount of resin we need for each size of project? . 2.- You also mentioned that we can sand the rough corners, but when we do so, is no shine anymore so what we should do? . Thank you for the step by step process. I personally appreciate it very very much !!

Adriana, your comment made my day - thank you! I'm so happy you found the video helpful and that you learned some new information :) As far as how much resin to use - we do have our calculator on our website, although that isn't really designed for circular pieces, but it can give you a rough idea for the layered coasters. For the coasters in the molds, honestly, we just eyeballed it, based on how thick we wanted to pour. Yes, you can sand down the corners, and to restore the shine, simply mix up a small batch of resin and hardener and apply with a gloved finger or a disposable foam brush, much in the same way that I restored the gloss on the square piece that had been in the matte mold. Thanks again for watching! ❤️

This video is very informative. Thank you! Please can you share the safety precautions that I need to be aware of when using resin.
@Artresin
4 жыл бұрын
ArtResin conforms to ASTM D4236, meaning it is certified as safe for home use and non-toxic when used as directed, however there are some safety precautions that every user should follow: Wear gloves. ArtResin is very sticky in its liquid form, so gloves will protect the user from a mess, as well as skin irritation. Clean skin promptly with soap and water if it does come in contact with ArtResin. If ArtResin somehow comes in contact with your eyes, flush with water repeatedly and do not rub. Promptly seek medical attention. Work in a well ventilated area. Wear a respirator if ventilation is poor. See our blog for further information: www.artresin.com/blogs/artresin/what-safety-precautions-should-i-take-when-using-artresin For detailed health information, please see the ArtResin SDS. www.artresin.com/pages/sds
Wow, great tutorial! Thanks for not speeding the video up! Loved the l length and the great detailed information, thank you! When you dome the coasters, instead of using a stick, could I pick it up and roll in around to the edges gently? Thanks again for the great video, Pam
