It removes the slag. Slag in iron is like a foam in boiling meat.

What, A dirt floor factory.....Yeah, lots of quality control there....LoL Did you see how dirty everything was?? I'm sure those motors will have a long lifespan contaminated with dirt and grime during the manufacturing process....And, I love the core winding varnish process....Just heat up some stuff 'n pour it over the stator coils out of a old coffee percolator......Jeesus Louise.......

The competition is too high. Being a Pakistani, buying a motor is expensive and its very hard to buy one with current price. I have started earning well but I know that time when our water motor broke and my father was stressed for months. He and my brothers carried water to home for drinking.

These poor people work without gloves, boots, helmets, glasses or hair and face protectors. No flame retardant clothing. No mask against toxic gases nor dust nor burning smoke. Of course this is all ancient technology - BUT, the fact that most of it is done in one place and people are familiar with the actual process is interesting! In modern factories many people only do a tiny part of the creation. This is probably 1/10th as efficient as a modern factory, but something the market doesn't need so many motors so it may not be worthwhile to invest in automation.

Back in the 80s and 90s I used to work in a factory where they also made electric motors. This process is pretty ancient even by the standards back then. I wonder what their injury rate/chronic health issue rate is?

But the tolerances must be a Grand Canyon wide. Usually, from Japanese manufacturing, it’s proven that tight tolerances between parts means better quality, reliability and longevity.

I like Indians they have their own ways to manufacture things even though it is not morden way or what but they bring the end product and make money.

These electric motors are very good. these are used in Pakistan to pump water from a ground level water tank and they pump water to 3th or 4th floor of a building easily. These electric motors usually last 40 to 50 years. Much longer then many household electric motors, in electrical appliances I have seen in US.

I have been watching these videos from few months. People are hardworking, ingenuine and talented. I see immense opportunity for Pakistan in these fields. Pakistan needs to utilise this talent. Hope one day Pakistan gets the leader they deserve and free them from the clutches of Generals. I wish they grow economically and prosper. It's not leaders, man, it's religion. No country in the history of the world has progressed with religion at its core. Once church and state are separate, then people have better things to do, like living. Hopefully, when religion dies out in the next 2-300 years.

tlvedio title should be making motor with out computer/ AI or classical way of making electric motor in factory. Edit: I can underatand now undesrstand that how difficult is manufacturing without a computer. A lot of effforts are required here , which deserves atleast a like from oursides.
