I went through 8 videos and all of those required expensive convoluted equipment and fussed around...found your video and let out a deep EXHALE - I found the most simple, no fuss tutorial with just simple tools that most people have. Thank You Heather!!! 🙏❤️😊

@@HeatherBoydWire I was so pleased too. I ordered a batch of earring hooks from Amazon and they snapped in my fingers whilst assembling the and connecting the beads. I went to my local craft store and the findings were so expensive. So finding this video has given me the ability to make my own and also guarantee they will not snap off. Thank you again.

Nicely done Heather! Close up and simple directions! I thought, however, that metal wire needs to be hardened. Am I wrong? Each time I try to make jewelry I get set back with all the steps (& equipment) I think I don't know. Some jewelers show having to use a hammer and block. I'm just afraid to put my "shingle" out and find out I'm making shoddy/unprofessional pieces. Oh, and I went with brass wire, findings, etc. (I think the brass wire is actually copper with a plating.)

Hi Heather. Can you please make a video of of that ear wire that is safe? The one i was wearing when i was 16 around 1986. That had a circle at the bottom and the pendant or stone or whatever was sitting in there and there was not a chance in a million years to lose your dangle. They look like the small kidney ones exept that the kidney dont have that turn wire to create the loop. I hope I make any sense !!! X

It look like this one but instead to have an open eye on the bottom it had a closed one with the wire comming out of the loop and became the pin to secure the clip. I wish i could send you a picture. I can find them to buy but only in real gold :( My jewellery will cost an arm and a leg if I do in gold x
