You are like the Bob Ross of concrete. I kept waiting for you to say "That a real piece of beauty. And remember this is your world and you can do anything you want in your world. And here you can put a happy little rock anywhere you want in your world. There's nothing wrong with having a rock as a friend!"

Yep, your rocks rock, you definitely rock!! Fine work!! 👏👏👏
Great timing for this one, been putting off a retaining wall (using pavers interspersed with some 4x8 cedar we got a deal on) and this idea clicked - made two yesterday with no prior concrete experience and results were good, thanks! The next two will be even better as I refine my skills.

Ha ha. You mean just running a pump truck doesn’t make you the best? Not setting a form? Finding slope? Operating a skid? With or without a scoop or hammer? Handling a shovel? A trowel? A hammer? Snapping a string line? A compactor? Setting a block? Using a laser to find grade? Applying texture yourself? Showing DIYers how to make nice little projects? Showing and talking through the process of what’s taking place and how to achieve desired results? Taking credit from and for the guys that are actually doing the work? Hey Dave. Better be careful. Might make a green spot in that guys yellow yard. I know, yard is a continuous project. What’s been sitting longer? The bucket of rocks or that boat? You forgot to mention how great you are at the end instead of telling us to have a good day and see us later. There is another local concrete mason guy in the HB area that does great work, him and his son actually do the work as well. No KZread for them though.
These little tricks of the trade and different ideas are great David. Keep them coming. 👍🏻
