This is awesome. You bring back the way I build in my childhood time: from scratch to a beautifull plane. The only differents: I did it with balsawood. But that doesn't matter, this is the way to do. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is how you built models in the late 1960s. Plans from a magazine and your own skills. The materials may be a little different but this is an awesome example of building. I never got to this level. Wow.

I hope one day we can have a kind of spray varnish that could also harden blue core surfaces. BC is great for shaping but the plane gets like a passion fruit peel overtime

I'm assuming you did the gear sideways because it was hard to find rotating, aft-retracting gear, right? I have a pair I'll never use. You want them for your next P-40? Got 'em from Hobby King.

I'm in the Philippines it seems that the most plentiful foam board is pvc expanded foam board. Can this be used for making planes?

Does the iron shrink the tape. In effect pre-stressing the structure, making it stronger? Very nice build!
