How to make Cinematic YouTube Videos with ANY Camera
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I will show you how to make cinematic KZread Videos with any cheap camera (Canon Rebel T3i e.g.) I will cover lighting setups and camera settings.
Pimp up your boring KZread Home Studio and let it look like a pro Studio with this cinematic lighting setup and camera settings.
Most important for cinematic Videos is lighting - but befor you can start setup any light - the camera settings must be in the right spot.
So I will show you how to set up you camera or smartphone and how to make cinematic youtube videos with an easy cinematic lighting setup you can easily adapt for your KZread videos.
I am using an old cheap Canon Camera.
The Canon T3i with Magic Lantern is still a cheap beginner camera for KZread and other content. It's a cheap beginner camera for under 200$ and you have access to all cinematic settings you need for filming. And in my opinion it's THE best cheap camera in 2022!
I am a True Canon Rebel T3i lover :D But there are also lots of other cheap camera for youtube videos or beginner filmmakers.
To make your Canon T3i video settings even more cinematic you can take a look at Magic Lantern: www.magiclantern.fm
It will make your DSLR make so much more cinematic!
BUT Magic Lantern is a third party tool for Canon cameras to make a cinema camera monster out of your cam. BUT CAUTION: It may brick your camera - so do it on your own risk!

Don't know who you are but I'm about to inherit a canon t3i from my father and this video alone deserves respect enough to like and subscribe. Absolutely phenomenal and thank you
Bro, thanks a lot, even bigger youtubers didn't explained this with depth like you did in this video. Those expensive and fancy cameras don't reflect most people reality's... For real, thanks a lot!

@@FabianBrucker Bro those edits are sick!! And the "it's time to start" PERFECTION
I loved how you literally started out with a wonky not-so-good camera setting and worked your way and talked us through how step by step how you made it better.
It's so wild how the T3i looks more like a soft, pre-2000's Hollywood movie while the Sony looks like the typical super-sharp talking head KZread video.
Aw it made me smile so wide when he mentioned it was his first camera, and its what I currently own! 🥰
I don't comment on many videos, but I implemented the tips that you laid out and the difference was night and day! I am very appreciative of the lessons you showed and this allows me to take my t4i much more seriously for videography! Thank you!
Man, I remember paying over $600 for mine right about 10 years ago. It has been a pretty great camera but I never used it for video. Thanks a ton for this video!
It's 7/2/2024 and I'm watching from VA USA, thanking you for this encouraging video! I have a Rebel T3i and wasn't sure how to use it or if it was even worth trying. Can't wait to set up and give it a try. Sub'd and will be back to watch again and take notes.
Thank you so much for this. I bought a T3i during 2021 lockdown to make guitar videos and I struggled so much to get the quality I just learned from this video. The more and more stuff I bought, cables + softbox etc, the more frustrated I found myself getting and ended up not picking my guitar up again for 3 months 😢 I picked the camera back up again recently, determined to figure it out finally and this video really drove it home for me. Iv finally gotten the quality I wanted out of the T3i. Honestly thank you so much. Now I can start planning buying a better camera that iv ‘completed’ this camera 😅
Perhaps one of the best videos I've seen around making good use of old cameras. Well done 👌
Man I loved this video. You explained every little step so, so well. It's really helping me A LOT. Thanks man
That was amazing. Thank's for this tutorial! I love how you showed this process step by step.
Thank you so much! Ive had my t3i for years and haven’t used it in a long time. So I’m trying to re-learn how to use it. Great video! I learned so much!
This is the most helpful camera/lighting video I have ever seen. Thank you.
I inherited this camera from my mother, I was about to sell it and look for a new one, thank you for saving me the headache ❤
This video is exactly for me. I have an old camera I bought secondhand. Just figured out how to make a video today by watching KZread videos. Now, I need to figure out how to make it not look grainy! Thank you, sincerely!
Hey, I am just learning how to use a T3i rebel and this is going to help a lot, thank you so much!
Thank you kindly. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this camera and now I know it can do what I need it to do and how to do it. Super helpful my friend.
great, informative and very clear! danke!
I love this video , keep going I know your channel will blow up. I’ll be here to support you!! Much love
this was great. super helpful. Thank you! 👍🏽
Thank you so much for this video! I have a T6i and I’m going to try to make it work.
I am so, so pleased with what you discussed in this video and how you discussed it, it was beautifullly organized and clear, and the results were fantastic. I have the exact camera as well, and I'm applying everything you taught right now! I think the sharpness of the Sony looked less "film-like" due to the softness of earlier film, so that this camera ended up possibly looking better in some ways to my eye, or at least more cinematic and like older films. I would love to learn more like this from you about this and other cameras and how to get the "film look" using all kinds of equipment, phone cameras, the DJI Osmo (and OSMO+), how to use all these things, free color correction software and how to use it, free editing software, whatever you may be familiar with, particularly everything to master cinematography from what you've learned over the years, studied, and put into practice, and things you learned from experience which people hadn't demonstrated to you or taught you. I'd love to be able to use the cheapest and oldest sorts of digital equipment in order to make cinematic looking scenes, photos, and videos!
bruh you won my heart for this moment. +1 subscriber. very well explained. I own a 600d and I felt so proud after your explanation to own this as my first cam and still using it 7 years down.

Wow! What a nice comment - thanks for the feedback!
I use to do professional photography years and years ago. The same lighting for portraits and family portrait and studio work is basically the same. This guy explained it really well so if you’re starting video or still camera, take this video with heart. Nicely done.
This video also has a very important extra meta-lesson included. The instant reaction in our consumer based society is to upgrade and blame equipment when really we can make great things by adding just a little bit of sweat equity to what we already have. Gratitude!❤ Subscribed. 👏👏👏👏🙏🏼
This was so helpful! Thank you for this tutorial!
Wow! This was very informative and amazing. Love the results. Definitely will be buying this camera.
Great job man. So amazing
I really REALLY like this video. Thank you SO MUCH
I actually have the canon 600d, was also a gift and I was saving money to buy a new one and completely forgot about my camera until before 2 days and started testing and your video helped me a lot thanks!
Fantastically done. Easy to understand. Thank you, sir!
Wow! You're amazing!
Best video I’ve ever seen on this topic. Thanks
thanks for keeping it simple.
Man, you make my day. Thanks a Lot
Excellent video. It shows that quality is with skills, experience and understanding. Not always the equipment. Thanks for demonstrating such an important lesson in photography.

Excellent lesson. Thank you!

You did an excellent job. It is not only an art to use old cheap stuff in order to learn. It is also a value good for your character to resist the promises of the mmarketing power, the most important learning for life. Excellent English by the way

Nice presentation brother...🙂👍👍
Thanks so much for this awesome video! 🎉 wich aperture do you recommend and wich lens do you use on the t3i?
I still use my Canon 60D for already 12 years, because I love it. My phone cost more than it😂. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Great video! I'm just getting started trying to make my own videos and really appreciated this. As someone else commented though, there's something about the softness of the image produced by the Canon that I like better than the Sony. I'm hoping for similar results with my Canan Rebel T7i. Thanks again.
That was so helpful with photography in general to be fair, class video. My camera is good though.
Nice video. I have an Canon 550d (Rebel T2 - I think). I want to get restart my photography and video capturing again.
