How to get your cichlids to grow fast. This video discusses 5 tips to making cichlids grow quickly and to be happy and healthy in your aquarium.
When it comes to fish growth, and especially with cichlids, it's not all that complicated. The primary was to get your fish to grow is to have solid water quality and parameters, meaning your keeping up with your water changes and maintenence. It also means researching your fish to see how large of a tank will allow them to thrive, what food will be best for them, and what the usual size range is for that particular cichlid species.

Love this video. I have several fish growing out two geophagus are growing out in my 20 gal. Since they are too small to go in my CA/SA tank yet. I am also growing out a Firemouth in my 55 gal planted tank. All these fish were like a in to 2 in so way to small to go in a big boy tank right now.
I like the scape on that quarantine tank! What light is that?

Another great video Troy! I am a HUGE fan of you guys. I totally credit you as the reason I love cichlids. I now have multiple tank syndrome. I am torn between keeping central Americans like in Quinn's classroom or keeping Africans like Alec. Any thoughts?

I purchased three severums awhile back and two have sky rocketed in size while the other I don't think have grow at all.. Looks happy and healthy but I'm worried maybe it has some parasite or something which is affecting its growth, anything you guys suggest trying or is this normal for some fish?

Sounds normal, if he’s eating and seeming happy. Some fish will just grow slower than others but will eventually catch up
