Thank you for the compliment. The weight will depend a lot on the cardstock you use. I always mail out my "bigger" Christmas cards with two stamps.

Hi love this card I've just made one myself my only thought is that with it all being white when card is closed there is no deffination on the folds. Can you recommend anything to make it stand out more.

You could cut a separate piece of each layer out of a darker color to add contrast.

This is great! How many sheets does this project take? Im thinking of doing the white pieces in black & the night sky with a sparkle papier! Does this go through the mail ok?

Thank you. There are a total of 6 mats or 6 pieces of paper in total. I think your color choices will be great. The card should mail fine. There isn't a ton of bulk.

I am a new subscriber, as of today. I am very tech challenged, and that includes the Cricut! I was given an Explore, which I have barely used, and just purchased a Joy for use in our RV. With that said for a bit of background, can this card be made in a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" size without compromising the camels and reins? I prefer to stay that size so I don't need to add additional postage. I look forward to learning with you!

I am a new subscriber and I just love this card. I was making it and tried on several weights of card stock even using a new blade, is there any trick to cutting out the wise men on the camels . The reins are so tiny I can’t get them to cut . I am using the maker 3 . Thank you so much. Can’t wait to make more of your cards. My very favorite is the Merry Christmas card!

Thank you. They are cut out of the blue cardstock letting the white card base show through.

What cutting settings is everyone using because my paper is getting ripped when I cut it. I have tried intricate cut, more, less pressure, all different cardstock weights, new blade, clean mat, etc, etc. Nothing is working. Help!

I hope you figured it out! I'm just starting out, but I saw a video saying you can select "CUSTOM" cut, then there are a ton of materials to choose from. Also, maybe recalibrate. I calibrated mine up on setup.

Can this be created with 8.5 x11 card stock, Or does it have to be 12x12?

Everything but the envelope can be cut on 8.5x11 paper!

Where do you write the sentiment?

You could write the sentiment in the area below the Holy Family, on the back of the card, or on any of the concertina sides. There are plenty of spaces once the card is assembled.
