    The background song is Da Sam Pekar (1975) by Bijelo Dugme. Singer is Zejlko Bebek and Guitarist is Goran Bregovic. There is a band from Sarajevo called Vatreni Poljubac which is AC DC of Yugoslavia then another band Divlje Jagode is like Deep Purple and Van Halen.

    I'm sure it all tastes great, but that has nothing to do with Sarajevo chevap. This is more like some kind of Hungarian ground meat with all that paprika. And instead of Sarajevo somun, you have pita bread, shaped to look like 1/2 somun.

    Does it matter? Why are you writing the last sentence in caps? Settle down. This family has created their own version of the dish. Both the cevapis and the somun are definitely made in their own unique style, and you have to give them credit for reinventing something that looks sort of familiar, but also different. It looks really tasty.

    This is fake cevapi! This is a modern twist or trying to modernise cevapi,but this is not cevapi for 100%! I don't want to explain why and how is not a cevapi,but is not even close to real cevapi.

  • @faustinoasprilja
    @faustinoasprilja2 жыл бұрын

    Real cevapi are take 24 or 48 hours for meat to be ready. Those spices does not go into the cevapi. All here is totally wrong,not even close to cevapi. This is just meatballs differently shaped,but cevapi not even close! When m illenial hipsters trying to show you and explain you something its usually ends up like this😢 😂😂😂😂😂

    Even the bread is wrong also and they have an open flame furnance and they still manage to make the most simple bread wrong. it is the most simple bread,only water,salt and flour and it suppose to be very,very soft and elastic. that bread is too hard and dry. this is one of the most terrible attempts of making something in the whole youtube in general. tragic!

    Very well the man knows how cevapi is made, no pork, that doesn't belong in there, i like it it's just not original, besides, it's not serbian food, if ottoman food my friends and actually invented in Iran. it is eaten across the balkans, and the only people who call it serbian food are serbs themselves, LOL (how embarrassing) Knowing the history is something wonderful. Denying it or not knowing it is just poor

    @@fuckjewtube69 I am someone whose ancestors made cevapcici for 125 years and still do it. I myself continue the tradition, and I'll say it again so that you understand it correctly, no pork !!, you should know who you come from the balkans, what is shown here in the video is not the original. And what I am neither arrogant nor stupid, the truth is hard to claw for you, but is ok. you can sell the crap you make to the Americans who would also eat shit. They don't know what you're selling to them. you are just embarrassing for the Brange and for the Balkans.
