How To Make Bubble Bars Like A Pro!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I am going to show you how to make rolled bubble bar slices. I made galactic-themed bars, but you can customize the bars however you want. Click here for a short video on different "bubble bath makers" you can use! • Bubble Bath-makers: Dr...
RECIPE: 1/2 cup (130 grams) baking soda, 1/2 cup (80 grams) sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (or sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium cocoyl isethionate), 1/8 cup (30 grams) cream of tartar (or starch or arrowroot powder) + 15 milliliters fragrance oil, 5 milliliters polysorbate 80, 30 milliliters vegetable glycerin, 30 milliliters liquid surfactant (I used cocamidopropyl betaine, but you can use a different surfactant). Sieve dry mix, then mix. Mix wet ingredients separately. Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Divide mix & add color to each, mix well. Lay wax paper down & dust liberally with corn starch or baking soda (or mica). Mold first color into a loose rectangle-shape & lay it on paper. Form a rectangle with the next color & layer it on top. Gently push it down into the previous layer. Repeat for all colors. Dust top layer. Place another sheet of paper on top & flatten dough with hands in order to compact dough into a merged stack. Mold the dough into a long rectangle shape & flatten it once more. ROLLING: Start on short side. Use paper to lift up & roll the dough in on itself. Squeeze dough with each turn, keeping everything nice, neat, & tight. Squeeze, pat, & roll all sides towards the center & pack it tightly. Press cracks back together with fingers. Make log as tight & as solid as possible. Cut roll into even slices. Dry bars for 72 hours. ***If dough is too wet/dry, add wet/dry ingredients a little bit at a time, stirring after each addition until it's perfect.

These are gorgeous Dora!!!! I can't wait to make them. I also would like to commend you on your channel. I have looked at other videos and in some they bring out all this equipment that I don't have and so I am left feeling discouraged after watching them, but your tutorials are easy to understand and follow and the results are always just as good if not better than those others (not to dis anyone but it looks like they're just showing off!). Thanks for your awesome channel and all of your super fun ideas!!!! I'm hooked.😊

Awesome! SO glad it was easy & helpful. I agree with you. I've seen another person's page & (in my opinion) they make their recipes so much more technical & difficult than it needs to be. Like you said, no disrespect (bc this person works their ass off & deserves all the credit & success) but I can make the same items with 3 ingredients VS their 7-12.
Thank you for sharing. Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa.

@@CreativeBathLab it's a testament to all the great content you produce! Excellent work Dora :) You know, I can't wait to get started on making our own branded soap, we're starting a homestead and we plan to have an eco-hive for digital nomads. Soap, candles, and bath bombs at totally part of our strategy to raise awareness about our brand and what we do. lol but I've never made anything. Ho Dora, you can't understand how precious your content is to us : ) Thank you xx
Hi Dora these turned out amazing ,you are so creative. I love the colour combination as always you always know what colour combination works. I was wondering if you could do a video on how to make a basic label for bath & body products i have been making products for a while but cant seem to do labels im not very good with computers ,the basic but thats all. Thanks for all the videos you do they are very informative.

I made orange and white bars using this recipe and they looked great! I was so excited. Used one on Day 2 and it was dry enough to use & worked great! But on Day 3, it started turning a gray color. Is this mold or mildew? How can I prevent this from happening?

Oh my stars 🤩!!! Beautiful galaxy bars! I love it. I do have a question though...does the glycerine make that much of a difference? I live in a very very very humid location...Florida...I’ve always shied away from glycerin because of product drying issues. Any input from you would be greatly appreciated as always. Thanks in advance luv 🥰💕🙏🏼

I feel you on this as I live in Louisiana. I suppose you could try to do all surfactant & no glycerin for wet ingredients. I just played with recipe amounts (not the actual ingredients) until I got it right to where it was sticky enough but not too sticky.

I’ve had my first batch drying for a couple weeks. I followed directions exactly, and dried the first ‘serving’ for 3 days. It was still a little mushy, not crumbly. Then 2 weeks later tried another ‘serving’, and last night tried a third ‘serving’. My bars still aren’t hard. I’m in Texas, but the humidity hasn’t been bad at all. I get good bubbles, but not phenomenal. Should I do it again with no glycerin?
