Sorry I never replies. I didn’t expect this video to get so many views. 😅 But the stearic acid should help it not melt as quickly. The only other really way to prevent it from melting is to make an emulsified cream instead of an anhydrous body butter.

If it’s very hot yes. It may melt. The stearic acid should help it not melt a little bit.

pls always check the usage rates of the fragrance oil you're using and measuring everything in grams of oz so you're using the right percents of stuff. you can get big sued if people get hurt from careless fragrance adding

@@tishpink3517 there's something called suggested usage rate on every site you buy fragrance oils and other ingredients. For fragrance, its usually 1%-2% anything more could be overpowering and even irritate the skin.

It’s not a must but I had it in hand so I used it! You can make body butters without stearic acid but they’ll be a bit softer so they’ll melt a little easier.

Sweet honey. I listened to the video again and I believe she does 8 oz of Shea, 8 oz of Mango (but she did 4.5 Mango & 3.5 Stearic acid bc she didn’t have enough Mango) and 4 oz of Sunflower and 4 oz of Avocado. These are the EXACT ingredients I use so I was also curious lol

I believe the rule to making body butters is the recipe should contain 80% butter to 20% oils. But obviously that can fluctuate. Go with what works for you! Wholesale Supplies Plus has a calculator that help when making body butter recipes
