A cookie-cutter may be easier? Roll out a large amount of cement-like dough, then punch out several leaves at once.

I Used fake leaves from dollar tree for easier detailing. I also altered more details: I covered the inside of flower pot with saran wrap and pressed the mix around the inside of the pot. Let dry over night. Next day flipped pot over & removed mold. Then added a layer of sand/cement mix on outside of mold & pressed fake leaves all around the wet mix on pot mold. Let dry over night & next day I removed the fake leaves off pot. Came out awesome & less tedeous!

Very nice! I miss the part where the flat surface was made before drawing the nerves of the leaves! I would have loved to see that part.

stunning! well done! I am a potter and I don't really get into hand building...but this is a fantastic idea! You don't have to fire it and it is beautiful! It's like using a hump mold with cement! I was thinking, if you used a water melon you would have an elongated shape and a deeper pot...great idea!

Beautiful! I would like to speed up the leaf making by flattening a large slab of mix with a rolling pin (or bottle) and mass cutting leaves (cookie cutter, tin metal cut as a leaf, or cardboard cut-out) and do a lot of leaves at once and then position on the round form. You have so much patience. I have been watching all of your videos in awe. Can't wait to buy the sand/cement and go wild.
