You did a good job. The color is very nice. As for Anthropology's style, I'm not a fan. We make furniture and anyone can make a box. Their quality isn't even great, but their prices sure are. That piece you just repainted is probably much better quality than what you were trying to dupe. It certainly has more character.

@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture yup. I’m in Plano, between anthropology, restoration hardware and pottery barn styles (even though they’re all a little different) are super popular here. So anything you can makeover for a lot less, that still sells at a great price point comparatively, tends to do well here.

Amazing transformation! Doesn’t even look like the same piece!

I love this piece. I want to try changing the skirt on a dresser also. Is there a reason you aren’t doing it on the sides of the piece also? Like would it mess with the structure or stability? Thanks so much for all your knowledge and experience and how willing you share with all Of us.

Question…could you use the Sherwin Williams glossy paint? And then give it the urethane finish for extra protection? Or does it just not make any sense to do that? Thank you

What was you final profit margin? Do you have a formula? “Price sold for” minus “Spent this much on a piece” + “materials” divided by “hours worked” equals “x” per hour? Beautiful!

No primer? Does the paint include it?

Oh no! I know it goes in and out of stock. Maybe keep checking it OR google lucite drawer pulls.

If you don't prime your piece, don't you risk bleed- through?

When you sell this, do you include the anthropologie image so people can see what the inspiration was?
