You constantly see “How to videos” where people like yourself create videos of them talking and 10 minutes later Im still wondering what exactly is the thing they were explaining. I have a general sense of how to describe it to someone else but can’t really answer what is it simply. But today, you created a perfectly simple and effective description of something that is going to change the world. Thank you! Another tutorial to possibly make, is one on how to read the market and create nfts that will sell or how to sell your current nfts.

A heads up for creators, there's lots of hidden costs in this - Creating one piece ended up costing me around $90 due to Ethereum transaction fees and the platform failing five times (I had to pay Ethereum fees for each of these too) $20 for Dollar to Ethereum $70 to create the artwork. Update November 2021 - no sale so far

@@johnthompson5792 Im afraid you are misunderstanding whats going on here. He means an NFT site where you sell art, and profit through fees. The gold rush being all the people that will try and make money off of NFT's but just end up spending money on the site fees.

I was approached online today by someone who said they were an NFT Crypto Art collector and they were offering me 1.6 Ethereum for each of 5 designs. They said i should upload/mint the designs so they can purchase them. Thank you for your video, it was very easy to understand and you have provided all the basic info I need. I had no knowledge of NFTs until I watched your excellent video. Thank you! I've subscribed.

I started to look into NFTs to build more my knowledge. Your video was simple and very enjoyable to watch so thank you for publishing this content. I personally think this revolutionary way of buying /selling art or actually anything that can be classified as a virtual asset will need to be watched very closely. The sector is still widely unregulated and those activities can conceal massive risks of money laundering and financial crime at many levels.

im struggling to understand the concept of smart contracts and how they work with NFTs? Is the act of simply uploading your art to somewhere like rariable the forming of a smart contract or is it an entirely different process all together?

I’m guessing rarible creates the smart contract once the NFT is uploaded.. since you login with your wallet, the royalties assigned to you go there at each exchange indefinitely..
