I've got a 06 XL I've used as a throw back spare last two years, love the ride, very comfortable, dependable.. actually a clean truck.. I'm probably gonna freak it soon, do a lil cam Chopin its lil ass off headlights all that, Thier underrated for sure everyone what something new blah blah y'all can have them money pits I'ma slide in the 06 ✌️

I have a 2006 Yukon XL with a 8.1. That was the last year for this engine in SUV or pickup. I replaced the front clip with a 2008 front clip. It fit easily. I added the rear bumper also,it was a little work but it was worth it.

Truck looks so hard man! Great pick up for sure! Will love to see more content about this truck!

The old body was definitely ahead of its class. A v6 option at the time would’ve been a game changer since the only complaints about the truck was the horrible gas mileage

Its a beautiful look my brotha, I've an all white and black trim look, just makes the color pop more even the grill. But what you got goes together well, just not my style . All love though.

I have the same headlights but clear, and was wondering how u wired em to have em always running, I wired mine the turn signal light bulb on the very end and the LED strip only light up in the day and not at night

I just got one of these and did the LED upgrades. Now cruise control wont work when lights are on. Im thinking i may need resistors for the brake light bulbs. Did you have any issue with this?

Where did you wire the LED black and wire too? It’s not part of the original factory lights.

I got a 2001 from my grandpa I wish I could afford to make it nice like this

@@SamyHamSam wrapping would be a little pricey since its a big truck but you could do that. The motor on those are pretty solid so you should be good if you maintain it

I have a 2004 denali with 24’s that use to look good years ago but. Ow looks like shit I need the whole interior redone from seats to new carpet all through because of a leaking sunroof it destroyed the interior also need a paint job bad because all the clear on the truck is gone and paint faded out bad don’t even know where to start

If the engine and trans are still solid n you like it, take it one at a time like a project. Cant do everything at once.

Those trucks are solid my guy, as long as the trans is shifting smoothly, engine is pretty much bulletproof. You can fit up to 26inch on those w/o a lift..but 20-22s would be better

Just listen closely while its going through the gears. Make sure no hard shift or jerks, you should be good
