I loved this video and I really need your help with floating large items in epoxy…My wife has passed and I I want to create a large glasslike epoxy piece with her personal and most favorite belongings inside of it to like some of her favorite things inside of it like her perfume bottles, some of her high end makeup, her quite large designer hand bag, her sunglasses and several pictures. I feel this would be the perfect way to preserve her items and honor my best friend and my wife and I know you are the only person in the whole world that can help me make this a reality…PLEASE HELP ME Honor Her In The BEST Way I Know She Would Love!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband last year so I understand. I just wanted to say that's a great idea and good luck on making what you want to make. My oldest brother passed away just 5 months ago so I'm watching these videos to get ideas on doing something special with his flowers.

This table arrived well packaged and on time. kzread.infoUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!

This turned out beautiful! I'm not brave enough to do something that big yet. I just started working with resin the end of last summer. I just recently tried drying my own flowers, everything has been fine except the daises! They are driving me nuts by not holding up to the drying process. I've tried silica, air dry, pressing between heavy objects, and they all look crappy when done. Any suggestions? Your flowers looked great!

As lovely as this is, it must have cost a fortune with all the resin supplies. I’ve been meaning to make these to give to my mom and MIL as a present on my wedding day. Would you be able to give an estimate on all the cost? I would like to get started with this as a hobby as well. I’m in love with the whole process.

I've built my mold, dried my flowers and I"m ready for the first pour. I put resin tape down but it has a few close but not completely flat areas, (I wasn't satisfied with using the tape). Will it smooth out in the planer/sanding process or should I re tape it. Will non stick cooking spray or crisco be a suitable option, serious question? I couldn't find non stick resin products locally. My wood is 1" thick birch.

I noticed that the squid clear fast has a max pour of 1/2”. Your wood seemed thicker than that. Did you exceed over that in one pour, or did you do 1/2”at a time, in multiple pours before you got to the top edge of your wood?

Yes, you can wet sand higher & then polish the resin. The only problem is some food grade finishes might not bond well to the polish/the piece because it”s sanded so high.
