I loved this video and I really need your help with floating large items in epoxy…My wife has passed and I I want to create a large glasslike epoxy piece with her personal and most favorite belongings inside of it to like some of her favorite things inside of it like her perfume bottles, some of her high end makeup, her quite large designer hand bag, her sunglasses and several pictures. I feel this would be the perfect way to preserve her items and honor my best friend and my wife and I know you are the only person in the whole world that can help me make this a reality…PLEASE HELP ME Honor Her In The BEST Way I Know She Would Love!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband last year so I understand. I just wanted to say that's a great idea and good luck on making what you want to make. My oldest brother passed away just 5 months ago so I'm watching these videos to get ideas on doing something special with his flowers.
This table arrived well packaged and on time. kzread.infoUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
So gorgeous
Best epoxy board tutorial.. Thanks for sharing, gives me more confidence to build one this summer!!
The entire process is so captivating
Stunningly beautiful thank you!!!
You are one of the few who address cleaning the resin off the back of the board. Thanks!

Great tutorial!
Good job. Just a tip I use. When I am doing my last coat I tape the bottom at the edges so I do not have to worry about the drips.
Just 😍 That Beautiful Tray !! That would be hard cause I don’t have those tools like You
BEAUTIFUL
Nice job! You did good
Hi, it's beautiful. i have a question the last pour did you cover the wood frame too?
This turned out beautiful! I'm not brave enough to do something that big yet. I just started working with resin the end of last summer. I just recently tried drying my own flowers, everything has been fine except the daises! They are driving me nuts by not holding up to the drying process. I've tried silica, air dry, pressing between heavy objects, and they all look crappy when done. Any suggestions? Your flowers looked great!
Very nice!
Beautiful
what settings do you use on your planner? Haven't had good results with epoxy using planner. I love your work.
Excellent
Really beautiful piece. I tried to duplicate It but my dried flowers took up the epoxy and just look wet.......I have read some people spray the flowers with hairspray prior to putting them in the epoxy. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you
Stunnnning🎉🎉🎉🎉
Im from India sir. Excellent
Greetings, nice piece of work what you made. I would like to know what kind of glossing coat did you used on top.
Какая прелесть 🤩👏💣💣💣💣
That's so great. good technique. I also do art like you
Beautiful job demonstrating. Where in Canada is your shop?
This is amazing! i have a doubt though... so ive got these snowflake like formations spreading under my resin floral table but right above the wood base... any idea what or how to get rid of those?
Очень красиво! Скажи пожалуйста, после шлифовки чем покрывать что так прозрачно получилось?
Excelente
Hola , saludos. Muy lindo se ve . Pero no sé si con el tiempo las flores pierden el color ?
Great board. Were the flowers pre dried? Great router skills! LOL, I can't do that.
As lovely as this is, it must have cost a fortune with all the resin supplies. I’ve been meaning to make these to give to my mom and MIL as a present on my wedding day. Would you be able to give an estimate on all the cost? I would like to get started with this as a hobby as well. I’m in love with the whole process.
This is beutiful!! Im new to this and i want to make my mom a TV tray sized side table for her chair and get rid of the ugly TV tray she uses. I am going to give this a shot. Would the process be about the same for a luttle bit thicker piece?
This is so beautiful I think I like to make a kitchen countertop like this would I be able to use a knife on it and not Merit
What is the red tape or material is it in bottom that helps to release the cabinet what are u using as a release
Love it. Is the resin food safe? So beautiful!
I love dis. How much is a gallon of epoxy, nice job
Is the epoxy poured over the wood at each pour?
Did you dry out the flowers before you put them in? I have read that putting anything in epoxy that has moisture will not end well
I've built my mold, dried my flowers and I"m ready for the first pour. I put resin tape down but it has a few close but not completely flat areas, (I wasn't satisfied with using the tape). Will it smooth out in the planer/sanding process or should I re tape it. Will non stick cooking spray or crisco be a suitable option, serious question? I couldn't find non stick resin products locally. My wood is 1" thick birch.
I noticed that the squid clear fast has a max pour of 1/2”. Your wood seemed thicker than that. Did you exceed over that in one pour, or did you do 1/2”at a time, in multiple pours before you got to the top edge of your wood?
When you do your final pour and it cures, do you get any pits or bumps?
❤❤❤it i will try to make one. Neels from SA
what machine did you use to do your edges? I love the finished product. I am about to move into a new place and I want to make this for my new place.

Palm router with a 45 degree bit
Is it Heat safe? can a cup of coffee be placed on a board?
Is it possible to just sand or buff the board to get it to be see through again without that messy top coat process?

Yes, you can wet sand higher & then polish the resin. The only problem is some food grade finishes might not bond well to the polish/the piece because it”s sanded so high.
What is the process of drying the flowers?
How do you clean the epoxy off your silicone brush?
Some people use liquid latex on the bottom to reduce sanding. What's the difference between wet and dry sanding and when do you use them?
What router bit did you use? 1/4 or 1/2"?
After pouring and sanding the item is cloudy If i pour another layer will it get clear again?
What are you wiping it down with between grits?
What kind of wood was used in this beautiful piece
Do you have to have a special table saw blade?
Can you please tell me at what point you drill the holes for the handles? How do you guard against micro-bubbles?

Awesome job. Thanks for the video. I'm working on my technique. Any advice on my videos would be helpful.
I need help. How do you do the handles exactly? I have a Kreg jig and some counter sink bits, but dont know how to use them together
What squid epoxy do you use?
Will this yellow over time?
How do you clean all that brother?
Maybe a silly question BUT... are those real flowers? Are they dried flowers? Are they silk or plastic? Beautiful board by the way.

Don't use plastic
Do you have a link for the kreg jig?
I thought resin filled in all marks on the pieces, Do we really have to do all those sanding steps?
Is it finishing or we need to do top code??
This looks wonderful but so time consuming. What would someone charge for a piece like this?
If sell this board, iwould be happy to buy it or few fir my kitchen and presents (is unique) for my friends. Pls reply. Thanks
Difference between wet and dry sanding?
What is the inside made of? Or why red? Thanks
Why did you handle the bottom and top finishes differently?
No polishing the topcoat needed?
Hello, 👋 what country is this? Is this epoxy very cheap?
Any tips for beginners? What should someone charge for something like this?
how resistant is your epoxy on the top against Knife Scratches?
@Kaye013

It is very resistant against scratches, the "squid-seal" was used a a top coat to protect it here

I am so confusing the mixing ratio of resin and hardener for specific area. please do some examples if there is calculation show. Example:- 60cm width, 2m length and 4cm thickness mold, and there is wood, stone and flowers to include in the mold, how we know the exact ratio of resin and hardener to mix and to get table?
any one know the dimensions of this board
