Only people go to jail, our fucking up being reckless. Not to mention snitches, who should not get stitches, but be left in ditches. B made really good money for over a decade. He always had a job, we lived like we lived pay check to pay check. He just put in safe at a family member’s home. We would deposit 5 or 6 thousand once or twice a month after going to various casinos. Reason we had money to deposit. He stopped and his fucking sister wanted a quarter of powder for a trip to the mountains and she set him right on up. He got two felonies and faced 5-8 years. He did a little over two and when u get snitched on any half decent attorney will get the paperwork on what and who is a witness for the state especially when u bluffing to go to trial. Then you know who and what needs to happen in ur best interest plea, and that don’t mean work with the state. It means plead guilty to this or that not this one and get less time if u had blown trial. Anyway his sister now lives in South Carolina and her Name Shelley Whitenburhg just saying so people won’t trust her. We still have money put up. Everyone goes to jail for watching this is a stupid statement. Only stupid, reckless, and people getting snitched on do. Stupid can be as stealing shit to murder. Stupid careless go down and the snitched. Most people on here with there statements never did shit or was the class of people I mentioned.

It's pretty simple, the machine he had physical access to had a master key. He used that key to gain direct access to the motherboard and overwrite the present operating system with one of his own. In addition to that he used software exploits on another to gain remote access and control while profiting from it and keeping other users from using while leaving the option of lifting personal information. pretty much what was said in a nutshell.

So to break the security features you first need a key, with which you open up the front of the machine, usually covered by a camera and/or in plain sight of the shop owner/worker to see where and what the weaknesses are. Then you come back with your laptop and use the shops local Internet which is probably password protected, you could probably try asking the shop worker at this point cus they probably won't believe it if you tell them you're gonna try rob their machine right infront of them.

Many lap tops can run without WiFi. Sat sap tops. I had a Toshiba one, spent about 1500$ on it, then my doctor took away my script of oxy out of the blue, like two months later, leaving me with a feeling I never felt before. So I sold it to my neighbor for $40.. Lol didn't even bother deleting anything or saving anything to a memory stick etc. Lost all my music, most my pictures, videos etc.. I don't do weird shit so I wasn't worried but that was so regrettable. Like immediately after I "got well" I was like dam! I want my laptop back. O well better save another $1500 to get it. Only $1460 more than I sold my last one for. Haha crazy.

Just put some decent looking cloths on amd tell the clerk you work for the company thats supplying the store with the atm and that your updateing security settings due to reports of this machine dispencing wrong dollar amounts to out of network card carriers... then apu says oh ok thank you very much and continues to eagle eye the 13 year old in the candy isle aslong as you dont return to the same location and leave the area no ones gunna know who the dude on the camera footage is. Second note wear a bright yellow reflective vest and hard hat then grab your self a ladder and youll be let into just about anywhere you damn well please cause the avg person just assumes you belong if done well you can rob a bank doing this and then exit the same bank as a prior hostage just by useing the right props people just dont care enough these days to bother questioning someone at most someone will tweet about the shitty electrician only being seen for 5 mins before disapearing and nothing got done... ugggh people. Cause thays makeing a differance these days not actually doing something. Bad for good people and good for bad people

I am an A+ certified computer technician with an associates degree in network engineering and data security so i probably know more about this then you. He did not "hack" it (btw this is the 21st century and no one says hack any more). He built his own custom firmware and uploaded it to the machines firmware chip. If he "hacked" the machine it would still have the original firmware on it.

Essentially what he is saying is that if you get access to the machine and rewrite its software you can make it do stuff its not supposed to. Which is true. And obvious. The difficulty is getting access to the machine, a problem he bullshits his way past. If I get access to a safe I can take all the money in the safe. And even if they paid you a visit I find it funny people think that is a huge deal. You answer some questions and that is about it. It's easier to wait for someone to withdraw a large amount of cash from the ATM and then take it from them by force.

since we live with big brother , our browsing history is stored at the provider for some 2 years and if you are deemed a terrorist , big brother and his goons can retrieve your browsing history instantly. fear not for Jesus was victorious over fear for a long time now.

+Lau taro Because when ppl steal from stores/banks/ ATM's prices just get raised to cover their losses. So, when someone steals from an ATM, the bank loses $ and they have to file an insurance claim. Then, the banks insurance coverage fees go up. In order to cover the rise in those insurance fees, the bank charges us, the customer more. Next thing you know, you're paying (for example) $5 in fees just to withdraw your own $ from an ATM. Companies and banks are only in business to make $. Period. If they lose money due to theft, they make it back from us, the consumer.

Why wouldn't the video be legal? It's called freedom of speech. And he never attacked anything other than ATMs that he bought, so he never stole anything. To make it illegal would be the same as saying all videos about how to use a chainsaw are illegal because someone could go and saw people's hands off with that knowledge.

In case you haven't noticed, there are all kinds of "freedoms" that are infringed upon left and right. Our govt. doesn't really give half a shit about our rights anymore. Also, your chainsaw argument makes no sense. Showing someone how to use a chainsaw is much different than showing someone how to hack an ATM. There are MANY legal ways or reasons to use a chainsaw, the event that one would be used in a crime would be the rare exception. There is no legal reason to hack ATM's. The only reason you'd need to know that is to commit a crime. Again, I didn't say it should be illegal to make the video, but youre comparing apples to oranges.

Lindsey Garber Of course there's a legal reason to hack ATMs. It's called security research. The real criminals will always find the vulnerabilities. Security research like this keeps everyone else safe by finding them first so that device manufacturers can fix them. It's so important, in fact, that major software companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple offer cash rewards to anyone who demonstrates security vulnerabilities in their software and even host hacking competitions with rewards for whoever finds the most serious vulnerabilities. Rewards are upwards of $100k. Legislatures will always try to pass laws that go too far. The job of the courts is to strike down the ones that do, and the courts have done a consistently good job of doing so. As for the comparison, it's exactly the same. The video doesn't teach anyone how to hack the ATM. It just says that physical access to the ATM allows loading of arbitrary software. How to write that software to interface with the cash dispenser isn't even hinted at. Nor is how to access the remote management interface to load software remotely.

OK so all I need is the master key for all the ATM’s. Sounds pretty easy.

@@akunog3665 Upper module is wired to an alarm, so it will be noticed. Atm manufacturers use specialized cpu's and motherboards so that plugging in an USB module won't work spewing out money.
