Made it today !!! I used tossed in some frozen blueberries into the cake batter which made it turn blue. The color and taste was AMAZING !!!

I tried this cake yesterday, it was so moist and so delicious that I ever had, the only ingredients I changed was cut half the sugar, his mom is right! 😀 The home-made cake strips really help to keep the sides not so hard and levelling the cake, would like to buy the reusable strips that recommended, more convenient. Would it be able mail to oversea? Thank you for sharing all the tips! 🙏🙏

I ate a slice of cake similar to this Memorial Day Weekend. This cake is eaten on Labor Day Weekend, 4th of July & Memorial Day Weekend.

Preppy Kitchen I made the cake and the family loved it! To clarify for next time, what kind of flour is best in this recipe? In the video you say all-purpose but on your website it says to use cake flour. Also, in the video you say 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract but the subtitles say 1 teaspoon. Thanks it is fabulous!!

I made this cake yesterday and it looked great, the frosting was great, but the cake was super dense and a bit tough. Can someone please tell me what i could have done wrong? I want to make it again, but don’t want the same result.

@@kylemattus4111 Same. Did you guys use cake flour or all purpose? I used cake since that was what was in the directions on his site but I just noticed in the video he says all purpose. Mine was dense as well though lol

I don't see why you didn't put the whole egg? Color?

can you replace the berries with strawberries?

Benny Jolly strawberries have a higher water content so might bleed or make things soggy xx
