White, black, or other, it's about having a love for music as a whole.
Syncopated layers are so underrated in production/songwriting. Bravo with the Wildly Vibey patch making it more felt than heard to support the rest of the song! Nice work, my guy.
I produce and mix Afrobeat music and I learnt 80% of what I know on mixing from your channel... seeing a video on Afrobeat a here is so nice. I hope to see more on vocal mixing too 🔥🔥

You nailed it mate. it's a banger!!
I love this!
I think one of the most important parts you discussed was the clave. It’s the rhythmic center & literally makes all the development so natural. Thanks for putting in the real effort.
Great Video Austin. Great Vibe. You inspire me every Single Friday to Kick my ass and Go Make Music. Thank You!!
This is Dope Bro 🔥🔥🔥🚀

Wow just discovered your channel. Love the whole show. I hope u have a tut on how u mix da vocals 🙏🏾 ❤
He nails it everytime
Thanks for this video. I think one thing to actually note about Afrobeats is the 3-2 clave. There is always a musical element (not always the drums but mostly some percussive sound) that has this beat. Without it, it sounds like Dancehall music than it sounds like Afrobeats. and finally, it's not always instrumentally heavy too as it relies more on vocal gimmicks than it does instrumental ones.
Bro you need to do more of these. I actually only come to this channel for straight pop tutorials and Samy beats and POJ beatz take care of the afro part. But this is fire
Great high level of production! Rare on youtube! Thank you
As they say in Nigeria "you try"😄👍, well done Dude, this was good to watch

this is a banger still........vibessss!!!!!!!! 100
Austin that amazing....you should also try Amapiano its currently trending
different but cool!
Nice
🔥
🔥🔥🔥
C'mon Austin, this is fire! Afrobeat (Naija Beat) is danceable Afroswing (which you just produced) is sexy and hot AfroPiano (Afrobeats + Amapiano) [trending currently] is groovy, hybrid and can unite a lot of races because of the blend between many genres. There are more categories, but those 3 are the most famous. A lot of black guys teach garbage in their Afrobeat tutorials. You nailed yours. The preview in the begining of your videos makes the difference because you show the final product so people can make up their mind on whether or not they found what they were searching for. In other guys videos, you will watch 10 to 20 minutes, hoping for a good result at the end, but they just end up creating unfinished sounding 16 bars loops. Therefore, if you release more tutorials, you can overtake them and be well referenced on KZread in the "Afrobeat Tutorial" field. Well done! Much Love From The Congo!
