The ice takes heat from air as air passes over. The hole is where air comes out. Battery powers it, switch enables you to turn it on and off, motor powers fan which makes air move, the lid allows air from top to come in.

@martinsojenagbon8483 not this type of battery. This is a normal chemical 9 volt battery. However you can swap out the single 9 volt with 3 double A's. And if you buy rechargeable double A's then you could charge it

I would not use battreys since these motors love eating up charge so I would use usb powered instead
