How to make acrylic ornaments with your Cricut machine! 2022 DIY Christmas Gift Guide

Hi, everyone! This is my first official KZread video and I really hope you enjoy it. I had so much fun making this and I hope you will too!
Get started on your holiday gifts early this year and make a custom acrylic ornament! These make the perfect for friends, family, teachers, etc.

Paint: Folk Art 456 True Burgundy - I couldn't find a link for this exact paint but I linked a similar color to my storefront under "crafts"!
Merry and Bright design is FREE from Caluyadesign.com ! (This is a great crafters tip btw! Caluya Design has hundreds of free svg designs for personal use, but you can buy them for cheap for commercial use as well).

    Do you put the venal on the side with or without the paint?

    I put the vinyl on the side without the paint (front side)! But you could totally do the same side as the paint, you would just have to put the vinyl on before paint and mirror the text in Cricut design space so it doesn’t come out backwards haha

    @@Kelsiebird so far I have done the paint in a sky blue, but I think my paint may have been a bit on the old side, it came out a bit on the gloppy side lol if that's a word, but if I turn it over and put the vinyl on the non painted side it's all smooth and I think it will turn out. Just started using cricutjoy today.

    @@TeasJewels oh, true. That’s happened to me before. A good tip is to use house paint samples! You can buy a small bottle at Lowe’s / Home Depot for about $5 and they work great, and are so pigmented! That’s awesome, I love my Cricut!

    But you could totally do it that way too! You’d just have to mirror the words in Cricut design space and put them on before the paint!
