One of the easiest and best programs to use for thumbnails is Microsoft PowerPoint! PowerPoint has a great background removal tool that is super easy to use! I use powerpoint for all of my thumbnails and I think they turn out great!

Been trying forever to make half decent thumbnails in Photoshop and not really gotten anywhere. In 5 minutes of using Canva I've already managed to make better looking thumbnails than I've managed to make in the past 2 years of using Photoshop. 😂 The whole process is so much quicker too. I used 1920 1080 when I uploaded my thumbnail . It said it was to big so when I typed in 1280 720 . It worked so it might be the size .

This video was extremely helpful. After watching this today I created 5 Thumbnails for my most recent videos that I uploaded and each and every one of them has increased in view count They really do make a difference

I'm using an app that has tons of options including saturation and clarity. Check video on PicMonkey. It just added a ton of enhancements.

Dimensions NEED to be 1280 × 720 to do any type of customization or it will be to BIG!

I find using JPEG seems to work or compress it, as you no longer need all the edited details of the picture. It makes little to no difference in visuals I find
