    @@deannarmos9254 sorry for the confusion! It really depends on what size you want your finished rocking chair to be. For this specific example, we used 2-3/4 inch clothespins.     For better longevity and strength, I'd definitely recommend Tite-Bond wood glue!

    i cant get kids can use adult super vision to use hot glue but i tried the white glue and it didnt stick "not to be rude"

    Yes, the white glue will need time to dry for sure. Which i know with kids, not easy. Might be best to use another all purpose glue or help with hot glue gun.
