How to make a wire hair comb

Thank you so much for sharing!! I've been working up the courage to try making forget me not combs for my wedding. Quick question, is a 20 gauge sturdy enough? How did you wind up at that gauge? I originally was looking at 10 gauge half hard wire which now seems wrong.
