love your stuff! are these about a foot long? I'm debating having them measure everything to make sure they get the proportions right-how did you get them to create accurate proportions?
@ThatArtTeacher
4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! They are a variety of sizes, but mostly close to a foot! So we use the head as a unit of measurement, so each one will follow their own proportions. You could totally give your students a standard size to work with, which would help eliminate the guesswork 💛

Should I make my armature this way if I want to sculpt a ballerina on one toe( on blocks), using air dry clay?
@ThatArtTeacher
2 жыл бұрын
You can do that, you just won’t need as much wire! One of my students just tried that out too.
So this can be used for sculpture?

It would be nice to have measurements because I got to a point where I finished 1 leg and I had no wire left.
@ThatArtTeacher
2 жыл бұрын
I have my students about three feet to start with, but we didn’t use exact measurements. We added wire as needed. A formula would solve any of the guess work for sure!
What gauge wire did you use?
