In real life, if you find a wheelchair in the middle of a hallway in an abandoned asylum it means that some teenagers at some point tresspased into the asylum and spend some time riding it and goofing arround before leaving... in horror movies, its ghosts moving things for maximun scaryness

I can't even argue with that! I've been in my old school on days it was closed (with my Dad who worked there, not just trespassing haha) and I would fly around halls on chairs. It's just instinctual 😂 Here though, they tried maximum scares, not sure if it worked like that. 😅

I like the one dude who's like "haha these girls will get scared by anything" as if they're just being ridiculous for being frightened of getting kidnapped, locked in an unknown building, and then assaulted by ghosts.

The disconnect in this movie is wild 😅 "buncha silly girls scared by noises" meanwhile ghosts of their ancestors are on the hunt.

They really do! And what's even better is it's usually just one moment in the movie, it just bursts out loud then fades away. It must be part of their formula 😅

The scariest thing for me in this movie was, that the guy who wanted you to review it said they put 90s porn stars in it and the second character we see is a little girl. My sick mind instantly went to the question "Wait, isn't that illegal?" and then I laughed way too hard at my own stupid ... let's call it a joke for lack of a better term.

Look, even with you explaining I have no idea what the plot of this movie was, who the hulking brute was, if the characters were dead all along or were being possessed by the ghosts of their ancestors or anything. All I know is somebody had a great time in windows movie maker creating these random ass transitions. As a side note, I never watched it but I have a vivid memory of seeing it on a shelf at Blockbuster. Rental was the perfect way to stumble upon these obscure horror movies and I feel like streaming services just don't offer the same feeling of discovery that you'd get.

That is more than fair. Even I am still scratching my head. 😅 The hulking brute is never explained, he's just there... There is no story telling other than those two very forced exposition dumps we get. The best I have is the initiation test was bad luck yo have picked there. All the people involved in it were connected to someone who died in the hospital and those ghosts are coming back to get revenge on someone? The motivation doesn't make sense still, because Heather is clearly possessed at the end since she wants to stay, hell so is Tory. But they just relive their past instead of behaving differently so they're still going to die 😂 You're totally right. There's no better feeling than finding one like this on the shelf (or in the bargain bins) and weighing up the pros and cons on getting it!

Some of the music here was really nice! I'd argue it was all very good, just unfortunate some of it didn't fit the scenes 😅 I never played much Ratchet & Clank (I know, I missed out on a classic 🙁) but I can see the Serenity similarity!

Have you ever heard of or seen the 2001 Maniacs? They made a sequel to it as well, I always recommend it for viewing 🤪

Nato!! Would you rather was such a guilt pleasure of mine for a long time. Just the poster of the razor to the eye still haunts me. Upgrade is a top favourite of mine. I always think of that movie as 'the tech venom' one 😅 Thankskilling is new to me though, I'll look it up 👀

I forgot this was even a movie until this video oh my God. Honestly some movies I've seen and enjoyed but never hear anyone talk about are: Five Girls and Five Across The Eyes. I would recommend giving those a watch, nowhere near perfect, but enjoyable. Plus Five Girls has the always great Ron Pearlman in it.

I looked up the premise only and I love the sound of it (being a fun/bad watch of course). Plus the movie poster does nothing to try and hide the Saw influence. haha

It's filmed on location, so they made a good effort for the setting. Then just absolutely butchered the script with sex and bad logic. 😅

I like the history of Waverly Hills so I watched this movie. It was ok but could've been put together better.

I live less than a 5-minute drive away from Waverly hills sanatorium. I used to live an apartment that was at the end of the body tunnel. it is in the middle of a residential area, there is a golf course next door. there are frequently people sneaking up there, or at least there used to be. This movie takes hints of the actual stories about Waverly hills and then ingests large amounts of tits and that's commendable.

It really feels like 2 different films mashed together, with the twist being that they're all dead which makes no sense - especially the flying ball. Like, how are they in college and ghosts in that sanitorium? A great concept but make it make sense

you should consider watching Frayed! it's a mish mash of good movies but it ends up being a nonsensical, terribly edited nothing salad with a clever (but done before) plot twist
