So cool!!! I wish I knew you a long time ago (but it’s okay, because I watch your videos all the time now lol)… ;P I really enjoy your RAD tiny boats… you’re very creative!! God bless you Mike!!
This build is nothing short of a jaw dropper. You should be very proud
Great project! Based on basic physics, the foam that you removed does not have to be replaced to provide extra normal buoyancy to the boat. The foam existed in the original build of the boat to provide lightweight structure to the seats, and maybe some buoyancy if the boat would be sinking (taking water while left uncovered on a dock, normal situation for day boat renting businesses on small lakes, or if getting flipped over).
I’m just catching up on the boats and the hard work here. I don’t know where to start, video edits and the craftsmanship is outstanding. This is what happens when you find something you love and show it to the world. You took it step farther and decided it wasn’t enough that we knew how to fish but started helping people build a cheaper better boat to catch more fish. This man needs an award.
When researching for my recent Jon Boat Restoration, rather than some of the older videos, I found yours to be extremely informative and inspiring. Thank you for what you provide to the “counter culture”😀👍
You did an amazing job! Love how clean everything is on this boat. Thanks for sharing.
This was amazing to watch really good work!! When I was a kid I loved my time 12ft alumacraft and did my own little build nothing comparable to this but it helped me win or place in the top 5 on many local open boat tourneys against guys in full blow bass boats. Some may have laughed at my rig but not when I brought the catch in haha.
i really enjoyed this video, as a marine tech ive learned some things i will use in the future, on a side note i cannot stress how important it is too label wires, service or installs, i even go as far as labeling batteries, main battery, trolling batteries 2-3 ect for 24-36v systems. 9 times out of 10 customers bring it back to load test, replace batteries, chargers ect, and labeling everything makes my job 100 times easier, its hard to remember how you have installed things when you work on 100 boats a month and its later on you have too service it, ALWAYS LABEL!
I have a 1969 K MART 16' Aluminum hull with raised rib flooring. I love the way you handled this in your videos. I have been waiting since 07 to work on it. I'm glad I did. I will be getting my supplies from you store and getting the VIP level for the special videos. Dude, You are the MAN! Thank you and your team.
Starting my first build this December! Excited! Mostly nervous!
I love the attention to detail even on the areas you can’t see on your builds. Its first class work
Amazing work! I’m always impressed with the amount of detail you put into these boats.
Guys, i really pay you alot of respect for this stuff! in germany the boating/fishing community is very small, wish we could have kinda same over here. anyways you really doing this stuff on a level that is awesome! keep up!
Making a tiny boat has been a dream of mine for a year or two now, all because of you bro! hopefully I'll be able to start it this summer
This is easily one of the coolest things I've ever seen. This is the dream one day.
This boat is unbelievable!!!!! Wow this build definitely raised the bar for tiny boaters👊
I love watching the builds and gives me lots of encouragement, even as I refit and rebuild my 1980 230V Ranger. I didn't need the BIG boat but for $900.00, I took on the task. I still want to Fab. A tiny boat too, later.
Incredible video! I would love to see some more musky fishing in your tiny boat!
First time visiting your channel and let me share this, so many people make videos, sound and formatting just needs a lot of help. That being said “ I loved tour video! Great cut always, song selection and sound of your voice ! Great job 👏🏽 funny and thank you for doing a great job
Got my tiny boat restore project going, that's for all the great videos.
Dam that was a lot of work!! I wanted to do something like this but now seeing everything done I'm second guessing myself haha
I have same boat. I’m definitely gonna attempt this build for tournaments!!! Amazing and clean!!!!
This was an awesome overview of this build, you explained the process very well! I especially liked how you emphasize on the WIRING, too many skimp on this part! Looking for ideas to redo my trailer on a 14’ Campagna (fiberglass hull, locally made skiff, LA)! I like the lighted bunks you used, better than the telescopic poles, I think anyway! I like lights!
I'm loving these videos. I'm very seriously considering selling my Stratos, that I otherwise really enjoyed, and going with one of these. Seems like each year I'm dumping a ton of money into it just to get it ready for the season. I want something simple to maintain. And, it's almost always just me fishing.
Favorite thing about this tinyboat movement is the built not bought aspect.
I fish out of a 203 champion bass boat but man I’ve been watching your videos lately and you’re converting me over to tiny boats might have to get one now lol
@TB Nation is the best that ever did it uptown, downtown, and all around town. I salute you.
This boat and the production quality is so insane.
Wow! Love this boat! I’m just getting back into fishing after a few years and starting from scratch…no gear, no baits, no boat. I’m stocking up on my gear and the last thing on my list is an affordable boat. I’m glad I stumbled upon this page and this group of people. These videos give me hope that I may someday have a bass-worthy boat! Thanks!

man you seen what people are doing with inflatable boats saw some guy at my lake with a bad ass bass boat made out of inflatbale one fits in a 2 door car when broken down and only costs about 500 or less im bout to mod my own

Fish don't care what you have for a boat. Only fishing snobs do. I've caught some monster fish from a $400 kayak. No electrical gadgets, no motors- just me, my rod, a paddle and the kayak. You can get into spots where no boat will go, and very stealthily too.
Ive got a 1648 that my grandfather bought brand new. 20 hp tiller jet. There is no way I would ever give that boat up due to the sentimental value, so I am looking to max it out. This video made me realize that I can make this thing into a bad machine. Awesome build guys.
Respect. Shows your dedication to the sport
You make this look easy man I would love to Do this with my tiny boat...
Badass build and perfectly executed
Man, another amazing build. Congrats!
This is what we all waited for the badass tiny boat build . There IS cool boats ,nice boats ,and a few badass BOATS.
3 10" screens on a 14'er...absolutely over the top and I love it
Wow beautiful work. You are in the zone!
Well done! Wow that boat turned out amazing
I have a Sea Nyph. made before Christ. it’s old but near to my heart. as long as it floats it’s mine. needs some upgrades. and you guys are amazing. !!!!!
That intro has me wanting to watch more. Proper professional (first time watching your channel). Keep it up ! :)
hell ya i love your entro happy i found out about this movement i have had many concepts for boat design and had no idea there were others
🔥🔥🔥 Awesome! TBNation at its best!
this has to be one of the coolest boats ive ever seen
I must say. This video just saved an aluminum i was gonna toss out. No need for a bass boat. Im building me one of these
I feel like this goes without saying but you my man, are a GENIOUS!!!!
Those hatch lids you made are "SICK!!!!" awesome work!!! super clean... keep it up...
Awesome build!
To anyone who's never tried to rig a boat before. You just can't imagine the amount of work and time, involved in a build like that. I mean just doing 1 6 gang switch panel with wiring is a lot of work lol.
Such a badass little boat. Nice work!
I didn't realize until a few minutes in that was a brand new boat. Me and a buddy took a new 16ft with all bench seats and ripped it up and made a sweet little bay boat. It had a floor, front deck, center console with a 30hp, that was one tuff little boat.
Pretty sweet! I have a 1988 16ft Sea Nymph Fishing Machine that needs that kit. I wouldn't need that many graphs though.
I just bought a 14ft aluminum with a basic setup and am contemplating doing a full restoration but I’m not sure if I want to commit yet. It works good as is but it would be cool!
Awesome conversion!!!
I was going to do this to my Semi-V 14' boat but after watching you guys I already give up! lol You do some cool stuff but man does that look labor intensive and expensive. Way out of my league. I lost my fire to work on my boat after seeing this. More power to the people who can afford the time and money to do it.
Bro you have this all mastered! You keep saying “we this, we that” I’ve never seen the other person 😂 just you…incredible stuff, wish you did a pelican bass raider though, that’s what I have.
You just got a thumbs up for the detailed skip to at the beginning.👍
we have an 18 ft bass boat that we also use as a really cramped family boat, I hope in the future we can turn it into a slightly larger version of what this is. already like it, but this video gave me ideas for it that well, I'm pretty sure I'm never going to do.
That is more wiring than boat..fun install, in a focused way. Strange to think that Slocum circumnavigated the globe in 1899 with a tin clock.
I watched this whole video.. and it was the best thing I watched today
Nossa ... que perfeição ... Seria um sonho poder trabalhar com vocês ...
Great build!
It all looks fantastic !! However i have one observation !!! Running those electrical wires through your switch panel you should use a grommet of some type !! Running a live wire through a hole drilled in the aluminium looks great but with vibrations will eventually cut through the insulation and eventually short out !!!!!! IMHO
These boats are awesome and gave me the motivation to start making a conversion
Muy inspirador tus proyectos, felicidades
Gotta love that kill switch lanyard lol
Looks amazing. Makes me wanna down size.
very nice. awesome build
this is a really well-made video.
great job & video !! but you could encounter a serious problem from chafed wires that pass thru the back panel to components rubber grommets needed.
This is a awesome boat! Nice work! I’m jealous! Lol
Awesome. Thanks for the video
We need a Tiny boats Texas ! I have a some boats down here that will blow your mind
Cool video and philosophical introduction earned a sub, and (gasp...) I don't even fish!
Great vid Mike
Killer build my friend. Killer!!!
Awesome build! I have a 80s fiberglass 15ft tuffy and i want to extend the front deck but I don’t know how i would extend it because the boat is fiberglass and the only real spots to frame are fiberglass with foam on the inside. Any advice?
Nothing beats yamahammer or a merc on the water
I wish I can do something like this......God bless you man 🙏
Nicely built awesome

Thank you.
Love the milwaukee gear lol.
I have a 1775 Lund adventure on order and needless to say I’m a little jealous
u need to do a stick steer had an old 1984 boat with it and fell in love with it
Brosiff hands down best build yet 🔥🔥🔥
Man I would love to do something like this and im a pretty good fabricator but not sure I would feel comfortable tackling something this in depth. The wiring and electronics looked like a beast. Props to you guys.
Real nice job you guys are doing very professional. Did not see any foam inside the hull for floating in case taking in water and it will not meet the license requirement of Canadian coast guard.
9:08 look at all those nice fender washers you threw away
That is so freaking cool. Just shows you dont need a 50k plus boat to have a great time.
Man I wish I was closer and could get you to help me build a boat
jaw dropper for sure well done. i am inspired
I wanna see how whoever did those bunks on the trailer that light up did that project for sure!!

Thank you for the kind words
gotta say, holy shit the trailer looked sick with the lights
Great job
Awesome Skilzzzzz👊🏾💯🔥🔥🔥! What can I do with a 12ft aluminum.jon boat?
Sickest 14fter on KZread for sure. What length shaft is on that Ultrex? I'm purchasing the same boat once I can sell my 1448 and I'm wondering if a 45" Terrova would be long enough to not come out of the water in a little chop.
I wish I had skills… I would build this. It’s beautiful
Awesome Video. The song at the end is my cousin Nick!
Michael great builds mate.been watching alot and i mean alot of your videos. Question i have is would you have a go at fabricating gunwhales to suit boats that dont have them?widening that top section of your gunnels to house rod holders and what not.
Inspiring. Impressive.
