That was done in blender. It’s not in the channel wheelhouse to be honest.

Thanks for the great tutorials Michael. Can't seem to find one to fix my issue. I do a one hour live stream and want to great a 15 second show open with audio which i created. Problem is, while its playing my webcam mic is also live. How would I mute that but then have it kick on as soon as it switches to the webcam Make sense? Thanks

This was EXTREMELY helpful (as are all your tutorials) - and I was able to create my first stinger. HOWEVER, The "A" and "B" (scenes) are just black/blank when I use the stinger as a transition. What am I missing?

Hello Michael, this video is great. Only issues i ran into is that my stinger has a black\background and doesnt show the prior and next scene behind it. Did i not do something right in Davinci? Or is that in OBS? TIA

You need to be sure you are checking export alpha in Davinci. And then when you change it to webm you also must check export alpha. That is the transparency piece you want.

had a sound issue .. not sure why the sound does not play through the OBS unless that was what Audio Monitor instructions were for ... in that case does the sound play during the playback of the recording or am I supposed to hear it at all live?

If I have Scene 1 and Scene 2 with one transition, can I have a Scene 3 and Scene 4 use a DIFFERENT transition -- if they use the same video capture device(s) as Scene 1 and Scene 2 in the same profile?

But you did this last year -> Create a Custom Stinger Transitions Free for OBS Studio May 2021, how are you doing, well you are doing great thumbs up 100 stars, now lets do it on a Mac, I am watching at playspeed 0.75 because I am slower at understand you and that is an advantage for older folks, I love 1080HD vieiwing much cleaner, I am interested in a fade in stinger that will fade out, any tips?

It works the same way in Davinci on pc and Mac. Fade in and fade out would be the opacity slider in the inspector.

BTW, you can make stingers in Blender and export in web m vp9 right out of Blender. No need to use three programs.

@@MichaelFeyrerJr It only took me two years to learn blender enough to do this. And I'm an idiot. I'm sure you young kids could master in a matter of days.

Man I tried this earlier and was successful in the stinger but I run 3 channels and when I put a stinger on my second channel streamlabs overwrit my whole KZread profile setup for my second channel and I spent all day finding out there’s no way to get it back. Then while setting up my second channels stuff again now my stream deck won’t keep the settings on some of the buttons… I wasn’t having any of these issues before I added that second stinger and now my whole stream life is jacked up… I’m hurting bad

Take your time and think through it. You will figure it out. A simple stinger isnt gonna do any damage to the stream so there has to be another issue.

Can you help with this one? Is there a limit as to the amount of video files you can load onto OBS? I do a live stream on KZread using OBS. I recently added 9 video clips, each just over a minute long. With OBS open, not doing anything, the CPU usage went from the normal 20-30% to between 70 - 80% and stayed there. When I started streaming the video froze and the KZread stream shut down as the bitrate gradually went down to 0. I deleted three of the files and everything went back to normal. Thanks for your input.

Make sure you are optimizing your video files so they are the right size and format to make it easier for your machine. There is always going to be a limit to what your machine can handle. Some are higher than others.

Good video, however I'm having a problem with mine where after rendering the clip it apparently thinks that everything besides my logo is the background and doesn't show it. It seems like some sort of post-render alpha bug. Does anyone know a solution for this?

How much smaller does shutter encoder make the file? Is there a significant loss in quality?

I'm trying to create a transition were the main color is black. Somewhere in the process it makes all the blacks transparent. How can I still use black?

Use shutter encoder to make it a h264. Then modify it and render it. And change it back to webm.

@@shibaston x264 doesn't carry alpha, you will have to use a protocol that carries the alpha and that davinci will edit. Probably Quicktime.

hey! I'd like to have different transitions for different scenes (let's say scene 1 to 2 => stinger, scene 1 to 3 => cut) and I'm using Touch Portal. When I choose "OBS set current transition to", my custom made stigner transition does not show up. Any tips?

found it - right click on the scene you need a "special" transition to, transition override, pick what you need and it's going to use the "special" transition only when you change to that particular scene.

Too bad stinger has to cover whole screen because obs doesn't seem to do a wipe transition that followes the stinger motion. That would be nice.

The background is not black. It’s transparent.

After over 3 hours of doing everything and getting to the 2nd last step, shutter code won't even start the function because of a invalid Input even though i followed every step. Waste of my time when i could of been doing something else.

it's beyond me how you got the whole screen covered in color my 2 squares are not big enough to cover the entire 1920 x 1080 video.
