I have seen and been instructed in an instance to write "Running Header: Title of the paper" in the header. Is the words "Running Header" ever placed there? And the title would not be needed on each following pages only page numbers.

I may be thinking 6th ed. but I could have sworn I was told the COVER page does not get a header or page number. Is 7th ed different or am I mis-remembering what I thought I was told?

mmm she did a previous version of this with a previous version (probably sixth) and she still did this. Honestly I personally have no idea though.

Double-space is the default setting for college essays. On the title page, the professor mentioned the title should be 3-4 spaces below the running header. In essence, this comes to 6-8 single spaces.
