I really like to watch your videos. Thank you for showing everything on your instructions. It makes it easier when you make it to see it done. Especially the handle part.I also had a comment about how I cut bags when you want each piece to match like on this one for the strips. Just a helpful idea. I take the first one after I cut it out and lay it on the other fabric putting wrong sides together. That way you have the whole piece for a pattern and not having to worry about the fold and matching the half piece. Then I cut the batting and press it in each whole piece.

A friend and I are in the process of making this together and are enjoying your tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing your video(s) and templates for us to sew along with! A couple things on the Required Materials part of the template vs following the video that may help others when making - 18in is shown for the cut length of the handles on the video but the template pattern states the pieces are 2.5 x 22, it also states you need 4 pieces of - 18 x 22 fabric for the linking but only 2 are needed! Handles not a big difference at 18 or 22 - but if you don't use fat quarters and cut a lining in advance from a full fabric piece only 2 are needed!! ;-)

Made your bag today! No problems until the handle and I was getting distracted and had to rip out several times! I double stitched the handles because the 1/4 inch seam allowance was so small I was having problems with it. Anyhoo, it looks good enough! Thanks for the tutorial 😀

I love this bag. The only problem I had was the top stitching at the handle openings. Mine didn’t quiet fit perfectly. Otherwise fun to make. Thanks for the tutorial and free pattern.

Always love your tutorials no matter what they are...you may already know this but I thought I'd pass it anyway...when you do a 1/4 seam or a 1/2 for the opening if you would stitch down to the allowance them start your seam the opening will automatically stay open..love your show...watch all the time to see what's new...

Excellent tutorial! I made my bag in less than four hours and it's super cute! It's very important to listen to how to sew on the entire handle before sewing it on because it's easy to attach it to the wrong side.
