How to make a Powerful Compound Slingshot from scratch | DIY Slingshot

In this video, I show you how to make a pretty powerful slingshot from scratch, this one is specifically known as a compound slingshot which is easier to use than a standard Y shaped slingshot because of its rubber storing mechanism which allows you to pull back even more rubber with less effort, resulting in a much more accurate shot.

Materials needed for this project:
6 or 5mm Aluminum bar (x1)
5cm wide wooden plank (x1)
Rollerblade wheels (x6)
Tiny washers (x20)
Small washer (x12)
Bigger washer (x12)
5mm Bolts (x6) with Corresponding hex nuts (x6)
Medium size wood screws (x4)
Larger wood screws (x2)
Motorbike tire rubber tube
Nails (x4)
Sheet metal
Metal wire bucket handle

That's not compound though !! There isn't a lever involved to help with some of the force needed to pull it back.. Your still pulling all the rubber by yourself, the pulleys in that arrangement are only causing excess friction..

You've got a point, I didn't think about it at the time of making this slingshot. Although, I found this mechanism still to assist me in shooting with tougher bands.
This is a trebuchet, not a slingshot. I've made one.
