So what I learned today : 1. How to let someone equip a tool right away instead of going to backpack first. 2. How to randomize where you spawn in the map 3. Puttings tags is helpful as it will recognize which is which, even though it's not visible at the front screen, still optimizes script manner. 4. How to countdown to minutes instead of just seconds.

*lmao Studio quit unexpectedly and saved my code but deleted my chapters and the status value. Now I need to restart, major respects to you Alvin for doing this for us for free because this is A LOT of code*

For everyone having problems with the teleportation pig part, a quick fix that worked for me is to copy all the code, remove it from the script, and then paste it back. Currently, Roblox has a Unicode error and this is one way to fix it! Hope this helped

If the fix suggested above did not work for you, ensure that you have updated the parameters for StartRound in your Game Logic script. You need to pass the time, piggy, and map.

I just added a print function to show who was selected to be the chosenPiggy and it works now. Btw the print function was print(chosenPiggy.Name)

Just replace all the body part models with your own. Put the Piggy model in workspace. (The model is in Server Storage)

I had a problem where it in the Starter GUI > Main GUI > Intro > Logo. It had "GAME NAME" instead of "Piggy" as you have. And the text style was not Garamond which you have as the Play and Shop buttons. But as you probably can see I found the problem and fixed it. And for anyone who maybe has the same problem just do as I said. Thank you for dedicating so much time into teaching us Lua for FREE! :3

This is great! I love this series. My dad is a programmer so he is helping me build and program this Piggy game. But we have a small problem. When I test play and get chosen as Piggy, I only have one arm and a grey hand, the left arm is missing... Maybe you know why, but please help with this bug. Hi guys, just some quick advice here: When I tried to play the game at first my piggy wouldn’t teleport to the waiting room. If the same has happened to you, try making sure that you have spelled ‘WalkSpeed’ with a capital ‘S’ in the middle (that was the problem for me). Other than that just turn on ‘Output’ while you play the game to find out exactly which parts of the script are creating the problem so you can check over that section.

AlvinBlox Could You Tell Me Where The Episode Of Making Your Own Characters For Your Custom Piggy Game Is At?

Shout out to Alvin for these tutorials. Have been struggling with the teleportplayers function and after many trial and errors it turned out that some blank lines in between the function calls in the Game Logic script was causing it. So for those who have that same issue, try it out and remove white spaces and blank lines.

This is awesome.

for those who are having trouble in spawning as Piggy and all spelling are correct in the Game Logic and RoundModule script. try to run your game and see if the InMenu under the player is still there... and you might want to check your EventHandling script if misspelled the "MenuPlay" to "Menuplay"... it works for me, now am spawning as a Piggy.

The dislikes are from the 5 year olds that didn't know it wasn't already set up for them

You can do either but it would be easier to keep them as piggy but chance the piggy model to be whatever model you want to use

Try This: On the wbsite it says to capitalize, which I think confused some people. *Do not capatalize the S in status value* instead, you should *write it like:* *status.Value with the V capitalized*

You can give the Piggy a hitbox as well so when the piggy hitbox collides with the players one it kills the player

I litteraly had to set the intermission to 150 seconds to test because my computer took over 2 minutes to load the server test lol 😆

I was once making a game, and I had a problem in the output. I tried everything, but nothing worked. After who knows long of trying, I got back on, look at the line that the error was on, and realized I had a spelling mistake. You’ll find your problem if you try and believe! Don’t just immediately give up or give up 10 minutes after you tried fixing the problem.

without alvinblox i would be stuck doing nothing but alvinblox is the best and seriously he makes the best tutorials and im making a game like piggy called Slendy a slenderman version of piggy

For me it did not work because of the humanoid.walkspeed so i replaced that with just --Alvin blox stuff lol it teleported and worked

is a percent sign hold down shift and press five to do it it looks weird in studio %

Hey Alvin, I was just wondering if I can changes those decals (The parts where there were decals of showing what the hammer uses and the wrench) and add a BillboardGui, will that affect anything if I delete it?

The spawns didn't work.. I would love it if you could type out the script.. I have no money so I cant become a member :c totally would tho..
