Not sure what happened to my first comment. So here we go again. I guess I will have to get out the paper Mâché bowl my daughter made for me when she was in grade school. She will be turning 50, yikes, in April. It’s a beautiful bright red on the outside and royal blue on the inside of course it’s priceless to me.☺️
Great job, Dana! You should give classes on how to do this! Both pieces turned out beautifully! I'm so jealous of your talent! 🤣
Amazing!!!! I never underestimate the things you do. They are always top notch. The the restored, refurbished, etc come out fabulous. You do everything with such a classy finish. I want to be you. Continued success on your journey. God bless.
Guess I need to get the paper Mache bowl my daughter, she will be 50, yikes, in April, made in grade school out. 😉. Of course the outside is painted bright red and the inside blue, it priceless to me!
Loved both diy projects. They are simply beautiful. I wish you would do a beauty video on hair care and styling. Your hair is so beautiful and healthy looking. I love the curls. 😊😊
Hello Dana ~ oh my goodness that paper bowl ! Not being out in stores I didn’t know they were popular. How pretty yours came out ! Then the tall vase…love it much better with the texture and that color! It amazes me how that “Joint Compound” sticks to glass ! Does it chip at all? Beautiful projects ! I had to laugh at the “cracked thumb”… so bad right now and they HURT ! I forget how much I use my thumb until winter hits and cracks come 😬 Hugs your way ! 🥰🤩
Wow! Your projects came out so good, I’ve always wanted to know how to do both techniques. Thank you so much. Now I have to go thrifting.😉
Dana, both projects turned out beautifully! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thank you!!!! I have a vase I can do that I have and will search for a unique bowl. I absolutely love crafting! L ❤️ V E your ideas!!!!

Oh yay! I’ve been waiting all night for this. Well,my martini and I. I have some thrift store I want to do this.
Hi Dana..love the makeover of the bowl & vase..you are so talented!! Enjoyed watching & tfs this with us..see you next time💞💞
Love the look- hadn’t seen just papering over the actual bowl and leaving it beneath the mache😳
Hi Dana. These diys came out so beautiful. I have been collecting pieces from thrift shops to do the spakel (aged ceramic) look but when you did the paper maché, I was so thrilled to have another idea to DIY one of the bowls I bought. I am really excited to get started. Thank you so much for your inspiration 🤗
Hi Dana, your bowl turned out so beautiful and your large vase. ❤️
Both items turned out amazing! TFS
Wow Dana they both turned out perfect. They both look very high end and I cant pick which one I love more. They are both beautiful, what a great project. The way you styled them and at a bargain for sure , I am in love. Great video, always God bless and stay safe. 💗🙏
Both came beautiful!! I did cringe with the 2nd one, but it looks beautiful and much better than the original. Toilet paper, who knew?!😆 You are very talented.
Oh my goodness, very creative Dana.. blessings!
Great projects Dana! I love them and they seem so easy to do. Thank you for sharing! 💕
Love the idea with the toilet paper and glue going to try it. I went into the dollar store the other day and didn’t know it went to 1.25. So it made me laugh when you mentioned it.
Love, love them both! I will be looking for some bowls and vases to try these diys. TFS
Wow the projects turned out amazing. I also wanted to comment about our hands. I have really dry hands myself they crack and bleed however I tried all kinds of stuff over the years. I stumbled upon Gold Bond ultimate for diabetics , ( I am not a diabetic myself), this stuff is amazing (for me) it is pricey but a little each day it goes along way. I never have this problem now. The upside it doesn't leave a grease feeling on my hands. Have a great weekend. Thanks for your post.
Good looking bowl and vase! 🌺💕🌺
Those both really turned out great!

Love both of these Dana! We are leaving for 2 months in FL on Sun. I love to read in the sun and do crafts on cloudy days. They have lots of Goodwills and such great selections. I always find great stuff to upcycle. You have inspired me to look for one or two great bowls to paper mache. Yours came out great. TFS 💗

Great video Dana. I love how the vase turned out, it gives it a frosted look like their os snow on it. I will admit that the glass bowl, I really liked it just clear glass. Sorry Dana, I love clear glass bowel and how they give off light when the sun hits it. Thanks for sharing these tips Dana.❤️
Dana, these turned out great! Love your diys. Will be trying this as I made 4 of the chunky throws you showed how to make. Tyfs and have a blessed day.
I did a similar vase last week and went to Goodwill and Community services for more today! I will definitely try the papier-mâché as well! Thanks for sharing!!
Both items came out fantastic, great thinking seeing the "hidden" potential!

Hi Dana! Both projects turned out amazing! The second vase was nice before but looks gorgeous after. I definitely need to give the joint compound trick a try. TFS!
Great DIY... I love both! I am wondering if you could use modge podge in place of the glue.. cause that is what it is bascially.
Oh my gosh Dana these turned out absolutely gorgeous!!! I will definitely be trying it and I have that same tall vase so I won’t have to spend much money lol. Thanks my friend for sharing these tips and ideas much appreciated. 💕
Very nice 👌
I like how both turned out, unique with your own custom look.😊Did you seal both or one of projects, like mod podge on bowl, poly acrylic on vase? I hadn’t even seen or heard of a paper mache bowl.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just love both of these DIY’s and I will definitely be trying the paper mache bowl. I have a red shiny wood vase, do you think I could do the same thing to it that you did with your vase?? 😊❤😊
Absolutely brilliant idea looks amazing. How many layers of paper did you do?
Forgot to ask, love the big beads coming out of the bowl. Can l ask where you got them?
Hi, I’m following you and I love how you made your dish and vase a stones looks.. I have a question: can I use these items that you use in your vase! I have kitchen set Jars for flour , sugar, and salt jars, they are clear glass, round and tall. Can I use this particular joint compound, on these clear glass jars? I like the color that’s came out like white just like the way your came out, when added your joint compound. I rather have it’s like that and not paint it. What’s can I use if I decide to keep its like that!.. thank you I hope to hear from you. Thank you again…💫🙋♀️💫
Dana, could you please give me the info as to where you got your sea glass garland? Thank you.
