Even though this was made 6 years ago, I can atest that it is still very effective and do-able, for me at least. I finished one crane and was able to remember the rest of the steps without the video. To whoever is reading this, just keep trying! It's a lot of fun, and I'm sure you'll get it down eventually. #FIGHTING

Omg your pfp is so cute

I tried making one, and while I managed to get the head and wings, it seems the tail is somehow misaligned and is off to the side, not down the middle with the neck and head, so it can't be brought back. I just have this lopsided crane with a wide tail that sticks straight up. XD

Thank you for this tutorial. I just made it in my first try. I just play, pause and play the video. I remember my younger self wondering how to do it. 😁 And it's fulfilling now because of your help.

During this whole video I'm like "this guy is a magic man... how do I fold like that... No wait slow down... Give me a second...wait I'm not magical like you... How... Why can't I be magic man." after like 1 and a half hours I have one single duck I need like ten now good practice lol

I’ve been doing origami for a while, I used to know how to make a lot of different things actually lol, andddd then quarantine happened and I forgot almost everything, but I still remember how to make a dragon, the crane is actually relatively similar to the dragon so if you get the hang of the crane you should give a go at a dragon! Don’t worry if it’s not perfect, it takes time.

He fast forwarded it, so in real life he did it slower than in the video.

I actually did it 😭 guys make sure your paper is perfectly square and the folds are creased real good. Also I suggest putting this video in like .5 speed and pausing A LOT-

Mine turned out terrible. The instructions were easy to follow but um.. it still needs practice heheh..

Making them of wrapping paper is a pain in the 🍑, but alas i shall amaze my 2 years old niece for 2 seconds before she ripps them to an unrecognizable monstrosity

I DID IT HAHAH it looks alright um I didn’t have regular paper so I used card stock which is REALLY HARD but it looks good for me making it 😂

I can make paper cranes but when I tried to stretched the wings I lost all motivation

i had to slow it down to 0.5x speed but i got it!! 999 to go 😂

I did it with drawing paper from a sketch book so it looks a little weird but it’s better than I thought I could do

I was doing that too and i found out the problem was that I folded the part before that upside down instead of facing the right way, the part where he folds the sides in

I'm really looking forward to try this out, paper cranes have such a nice meaning behind them. I would like to make at least 100 and give them to a close friend of mine as well with a crane necklace I just found online🥲 i really hope I 'll manage to make one origami crane per hour at least 😹 thank you a loooot for the video!!! It is so helpful and inspiring 🥰
