How to make a painted pallet sign

99% of the vinyl I use on my channel is Specialty Materials Brands I have tried many kinds over the years, and they are my absolute favorite. The quality is top-notch, I have a video where I wash a shirt 50 times, and the vinyl still looks brand new. • Thermoflex vs. Siser: ... They have the most extensive range of products and colors around ( there are over 90 colors in the ThermoFlex Plus and GlitterFlex Ultra lines alone). They also offer free product samples on their website, which you don’t see anymore. Trust me, request a sample because if you try it, you will know why I love it.

Hi! Do you recommend removing the vinyl when the paint is still wet? I would have thought to keep it on until the paint is dry but I haven’t done this before so not sure if there’s a benefit to removing it when wet. Thank you!!

Any advice for peeling paint? More specifically... I stained the wood, placed the vinyl wording outline on (wanted the letters white, on stained wood, similar to what you did here). Painted mod podge in order to avoid the bleeding. Then painted in the white over the mod podge letters. Let it dry then went to peel up the vinyl and the paint came up completely! Gaa!! How do you avoid this?

Great tutorial for a simple stencil, but my question is, would there be a good way to keep the paint from bleeding at the gaps in the pallet sign? A lot of the comments here are focused on the H missing the line, but all I noticed were the paint bleeds inside the gaps. Would it be good to tape that area off or would it still bleed? Painters tape maybe?

I wasn't making any more and I like it sticky so I don't have to worry about my lines being clean. There are many ways to do it. (this is just the way I like). but stencil vinyl is a great product just not one I use that often.

I’m guessing she made it in a program on her computer. If you have a cricut machine there’s a program called design space that you could make something like this.

Cute- but you should add a sealant. I make my own boards but I hand paint with chalk but still to prevent chipping.
