I've been looking for ideas for hands to match an old paper mache mask I made years ago. This technique is perfect! :D
I'm starting next year's Halloween costume now so I don't have to worry about making a awful last minute costume. Thank you for the video, I'm gonna be a Wendigo next Halloween.

Thank you so much! Awesome video!
This was amazing.
Excellent job keep up the great work.
Thanks man! I plan to make a cosplay of an infected researcher from John Carpenter’s The Thing, mainly based off the remakes poster. This makes things 1000x easier. Hopefully I finish it in time!

Hey bro, thats so damn cool!, great job there :0
Hello, your videos are so amazing, but I want to ask. What type of wire are you using, and how much I would need it ? Thanks for such good tutorials
i'm using this for my movie costumes! specifically for a Kaleesh costume (original alien race of general Grievous) Thanks a lot this was epic. I will make sure to give you credit!
thanks to this my siren head costume is a step more close to reality

U just have to find a glove that’s a little longer and do the same paper and tape process.

Lol the point he was making was that this is so simple YOU could do it! Don’t be lazy dude!
How much did it cost to make the glove?
The tape I'm using won't stick to my glove and crumbles when it moves. Any solutions?
Really want to make the thing type of costume and I want to add this to it
Happy 600 subs

What kind of wire did you use for sculpting the hand?
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
I think it is usually used for winegrowing, but you can use any wire as long as it's strong enough - If you don't find any usable wire, you can still use metal wire hangers;)
I’m 7 & I like the Windego lol xd
*Weeps in allergic to latex *
Hello my good man! I was wondering if you know how to make a set of more muscular shoulders that would match the proportion of these hands?
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
Hey, that depends on whether the shoulders can be seen or if they are just for underneath a jacket or something like that... If they can be seen, I would suggest using expanding foam... you can spray it over a wire skeleton, carve it, and cover it in latex later on to achieve a leathery texture... just an idea, hope this helped;)
@georgeturner9452
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Yes it would mainly be for shape under a jacket.
Thank you my wendigo is now allmost finished
When am I gonna see more foam monster hand asmr content?
Hey, i was wanting to do this for a partial carnage cosplay, but I was worried it would fall apart if used for too long or too often does anyone know if thats the case? And if anyone made this as a full arm how did/or would you do the elbow and wrist joints.
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
Hm... That could actually be the case, of course it depends how often you wear it and how thick the latex layer will be - Latex tends to get brittle over time. Although damaged areas can get fixed rather quickly by using more latex.
@jendubay3782

Would silicon work instead of latex?
you could also just stop at 2:30 and do Freddy Krueger!
What wire did you use?
@sixgunsam1967
4 жыл бұрын
He said he used coat hangers but it would be better if used soldering wire in my opinion
Instead of liquid latex you could use glue mixed with water
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I don't think that this is a good idea - glue is not flexible like latex is and would crumble when you move the fingers... Despite that, I don't even know if it would be cheaper.

@@fantasticfilmfactory6812 ok
I know what im doing today
You put to many layers on the glove which would probably make it more hard to move.
Nice job! the work is never done 5:35
That’s a mf death claw hand
That was a worthless video
Very cool!
