So you don’t necessarily need natural photos on your comp card ? I’m a freelance model as well and i always struggle with having a comp card or digitals. I’ve always thought it was the same thing

I always struggled with that too, that’s why I made two different cards. A mixture is also good too!

I dont have any experience as a model but I really wanna go into modeling. I’ve heard so many people say to make a comp card and build a portfolio but there are no proper and good photographers in the town I live in. One of my friends are an aspiring photographer and she takes great photos. Im actually currently on vacation in my old city where she is and thought she could help me take photos to basically start building a protfolio and have photos for a comp card that look more professional. The agency I want to sign to is an international agency located in the u.s. I did my research on them but im still very unsure if I could sign with them because Im on a complete different continent and the agency sadly doesnt have offices where I’m from. Can I still sign with them and can I ask my friend to help me take photos to build up my protfolio?

You can pick the type of material like card stock, matte, etc. the card is 5x7 so I would look for that size when printing.

@@levivise7798 hi. I don’t know I have an answer, but I can say you have to show your capabilities when they called you up. Just be prepared til you apply for the agencies.

I would look at plus size models that are signed and send your pictures to those agencies. I would also continue to take pics to build your portfolio and work with companies that market plus size clothing so they can notice you.

You can just tell them you need to print a 5x7 card and they should know what you’re talking about
