It's been months....and your results? I'm not judging, I've no cats now, myself.

That is so cool. My cat would probably pounce on it and collapse the whole thing. But this gives me ideas for making a 'treat hider' for her. :-) Or maybe just use it to feed her kibble. She's a pig and needs to slow down. Making her work for her food would be good for her mind and waistline. LOL

Probably...but I will have fun making it and watching them play...and of course take pictures for memories!

It’s a cool idea! It would be expensive, but I would make it out of pieces of PVC pipe so it would be more durable.

I can totally see my fur baby having a blast with this! This is such a creative idea! Great job

I think the real question is why how and where do you keep the tolit paper roles

Start with a cardboard box. Remove flaps. Cut away 1 side. Fill opening with rolls, using hot glue. Add a "porthole" in a few places on other 3 sides and bottom by cutting an X and pushing a roll or rolls through it, or by cutting an appropriately shaped hole for a different object such as a small box. Cut a cat-shaped opening in one intact side. Turn open side down. A lot less work, sturdier, uses a lot fewer rolls.

Awww, that is so awesome! I have made much smaller versions, but nothing so grand. Thanks for this, I am sure the kitties are going to love it!

I can't tell if it's a Maine coon or a long haired tabby. But I have a long haired tabby and a red point siamese too! They're just the most precious cats, cool DIY!

I must ask what breed is your cat the one with the long hair and shades of brown? I just bought a kitty and his hair is growing just like where it looks like a lions main around his face and neck! Just curious if it grew like that or did you groom it that way ?

That's a good point.... I just use the hot glue on packages and reboxing, though it might be an idea. Sure don't want kitty chewing on it I was thinking for the cat house you made before.... To texture it easy, you can color print some sticker paper that has the glue on it already, Just peal the backing and stick it on =^.^= . We all know cats seem to like Catnip... For hot summer days try putting catnip in ice cube trays, add water and make catnip cubes =^.^= Something fun for kitty to discover
